Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Nice area that has picnic tables, restrooms and is the trailhead for both the Petroglyph Wall Trail and the Willow Spring Loop trail, both of which are easy walks and can be done in less than 2 hours. Bring plenty of water on the walks. The picnic area has plenty of shade but be careful, as the metal tables can get hot during the day.

We thought we were on a easy trail...uh oh. So be careful. We saw a the little trail markeker and thought it was going to be a 1.5 stroll. Not so, it was fine in the first 3rd and last 3rd. The middle was pretty steep with rocks and slippery rocks. We were fine and have a tale to tell. Thank goodness that we did not get hurt. I will not be doing this again with my mom. But we had fun.

This was beautiful easy trek as part of the white rock /willow springs loop. So many pretty wildflowers. The springs were dry but the rocks in the river bed were fun to look at. So many pretty colors and diverse plants in the are of the park. Really enjoyed it. The picnic area is nice and has some pictographs and wall carvings to look at. You can get to at least 6 different trails form this point. Enjoy.

Nice picnic area and trails for hiking here. We hiked from here to La Madre Springs and on around on the White Rock Loop and back down to Willow Springs. Enjoyable day!

We went to the Willows Creek picnic area in the early evening on a hot day in June. Its a nice place for a picnic. We were lucky enough to see some animals and birds while we were there. One of the reasons one can see animals here is that there is a creek nearby.

Its part of Red Rock Canyon area.

There is also a hiking trail named Lost Creek Trail one can take from there. It leads to a waterfall and creek.

There is parking in this area of Red Rock Canyon.
