Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We like the Pine Creek Canyon Trail in Red Rock Canyon. Its nice that the trail is by water. This time we took a shorter hike on the trail as it was very hot when we were there, It still had enjoyable views. There is parking lot for the trail area.

This is a beautiful trail. There's a loop if you don't want to do any strenuous hiking. But this trail takes you to fern canyon. Right of the center peak. Once you get to the Y go right. The trail is hidden in the trees but once you get passed it the trail is easy to fallow. It's a beautiful area. Lots of pools and bouldering. There's water once you get into it. I took loads of pictures but there is points that you have to jump rocks.

This is the greenest trail, and it is near the water. Easy in and out hike. It's towards the end of the scenic loop. I recommend if you just want to do a quick nice hike.

Nice hiking right off of the loop road in Red Rock Canyon. Sandy trail at first, turns rocky later on. About 30-35 minutes to the creek and the old Wilson Homestead. From there you can make your own way up the canyon. The trail comes and goes but you can't get lost within the canyon. However, you'll have to scramble boulders and cross the creek several times. Water all year. In the summer heat it'll be cooler once you get back into the canyon. There are connector trails to other parking areas but you'll need to car pool to hike these efficiently. By the way, the Pine Creek parking area fills quickly on weekends, so you might have to park alongside the main one-way road. Apparently the BLM allows this.

This was a nice, easy trail to do. There is also a beautiful creek where you can meditate. Good beginner hike. On the way back to the parking lot you do have to climb a little bit. Also, the parking lot is usually full.

There were some elevation changes as we entered into and out of the canyon. There were some rocks pots but no climbing. Be sure to look for signposts with arrows pointing you in the right direction. Some posts may be obscured by a rock or branch so be on the lookout. If there's been rain in the area, be sure to check for trail conditions as flash floods seem like Iikely.

Really enjoyed this part of Red Rock Canyon Conservation area. This trail is around 3 miles long, with a good part of it following water. There is plenty of boulder climbing to be had as well if interested.

We started at the Oak Creek Trailhead and hiked out to Knoll trail which was really scenic. We then continued to Pine Creek Canyon. We enjoyed doing the loop at the end of the trail and a snack at the old Wilson homestead fountain. Filled our water bottles and filtered the water to make it drinkable. This is a lovely green canyon. We returned to our truck by way of Arnight Trail. A good day of hiking!
