Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We like the atmosphere and the decor of the Main Street Station, we are locals and come down to play there when relatives visit. The slots are loose enough that you can play a long time for $40 or so. I want to also say the Ladies bathroom in the main part of the casino was spotless this past weekend. The gal that cleans that bathroom does a great job. The reason I am complaining is the cleanliness of the slot machines. Whenever we come to play we bring washn' dries towlettes to wipe the machines down. They are always filthy. One would think with the Corona Virus situation these days that they would have staff going around cleaning the button, screens etc. etc.. Luckily I had my wipes which turn black with filth when I use them. The Casino should have a staff member armed with paper towels and spray cleaner going around cleaning the place. If money talks then the management should be thinking of the effect it would have for business if people start getting the Virus and it traces back to the Main Street.

The casino has been on of my favorites for quite a few years. Unfortunately, it appears the owners are doing everything in their power to run people off. All table games are moved to the California casino. Staffing is a minimal. The great buffet is now only open for brunch weekdays. Dinner is only served on weekends. For me, it is just another example of the visitors returning and the owners cutting costs. Sad.

We stayed at the GN but went here for a cheaper Sunday dinner, since we had heard great things about the buffet. Food was very tasty, but what a mistake we made in retrospect. For the next 36 hours I was confined to the bathroom in our room. I think the noro-virus that is known to be active next door at the Cal has made it's way here.

BEWARE IF YOU GAMBLE HERE!

My wife was mugged while playing the slot machine. It was our first time at Main Street Station Casino and certainly our last time. She was mugged near the main entrance of the casino. There are no security guards near doorways or anywhere near by. While she was on the slot machine, a well built man came in the main entrance and attacked my wife striking her from behind and grabbed her purse strap with violent force. She screamed and struggled as she was desperately holding onto her purse. He over powered my wife and took off running away with her purse while she chased after him onto the street. He was so strong, he injured my wife's shoulder and hand. To no avail, she returned into the casino, still no security guard insight. The security guards came a few minutes after but they were not able to help nor leave the property to assist. All they could do is make a report on the incident and left it to us to call the police. I certainly will not recommend this casino to my friends and family unless the Casino improves their security. Its been over 2 weeks now, we have never heard back from the casino. Players and gamblers, go there at your own risk. Casinos in California have door mans and security guards at every entrances.

Myself, wife and teenage son went to Main Street to see the artifacts etc on display there and thought they were quite interesting. The only problem was the Berlin wall hidden in the men's room, so I had to take a photo so my wife could see it!
Had lunch there aswell in the buffet, very good.

Located off Fremont Street but easy to find. Casino is a nice size and had plenty of tables and machines. Dealers were friendly and fair. 777 Brewery and Pub is inside this casino. Worth a visit to both.

This is an older casino that is an easy walk to seeing the Mob Museum, our main reason for going to this area this trip. The seafood buffet here for value/price was delightful. Gaming here is similar to other casinos in this area.

I read alot of reviews about the "Station" hotel buffets, so was excited to finally try out the buffet at Main Street Station Casino. I got a 2-for-1 coupon from the Fremont Street Experience Office and went on Tuesday T-Bone Steak Night, which cost around $15. My boyfriend and I really enjoyed this buffet and rated this as one of our top 3 favorite buffets in Vegas, along with the buffets at Paris and Rio. We've also tried the buffets at the Orleans, Flamingo and Bellagio, but were not that impressed with those ones.

The steak is cooked to order and the food is very tasty! The price is unbeatable and the selection pretty good. You won't be disappointed!

When the dice are hot, it is the fastest way to make money. But, when the dice are cold, I tend to stay on the table way too long, waiting for another run.

Visited Main Street Casino so that I could see the Berlin Wall that was located in the mens restroom. Why place it there? .Anyway females must ask for a security guard to accompany them to restroom this I did took the obligatory photo and security guard took my photo and that was that Tours do operate to here but it is just a short walk from Fremont Street and can be done alone.
The building although renovated is a blast from the pass and worth a look while there
