Great place to shop and dine. It's close to the Mandalay Bay Hotel, so you can take an uber or ride the bus. All the stores have great deals!

We got the Deuce (bus) to Town Square and enjoyed wandering around such calm, model town streets. It is so different to the Strip and Downtown! Also had a great family feel.

My recent experience at Town Square Las Vegas took an alarming turn when I was subjected to an unjust threat of police involvement by the security personnel. This incident added to my already disappointing impression of the security measures at this popular shopping and entertainment destination.
During my visit, the following distressing incident transpired:
Unwarranted Threats: While I was peacefully going about my business, a security officer approached me and, without any clear justification, threatened to call the police. The sudden escalation of the situation was both shocking and unwarranted.
Public Embarrassment: This incident occurred in full view of other visitors, causing public embarrassment and humiliation. The unnecessary public spectacle was not only distressing but also had a detrimental effect on my overall experience at Town Square Las Vegas.
Fear-Inducing Behavior: The security personnel's behavior was fear-inducing and created an atmosphere of distrust and unease. Visitors should feel safe and welcome, and such incidents do the opposite, making the entire environment unwelcoming.
Chilling Effect: Threats of police involvement for no apparent reason have a chilling effect on visitors and deter them from freely enjoying the facilities and activities at Town Square Las Vegas. It raises concerns about the overreach of security authority.
In conclusion, the unjustified threat of police involvement during my visit to Town Square Las Vegas was a deeply troubling experience that further exacerbates the security-related issues at this location. Visitors should not be subjected to unwarranted threats, which not only disrupt their experience but also undermine the reputation of the destination. The management of Town Square Las Vegas must urgently address such incidents and ensure that security personnel are properly trained to handle situations without resorting to unwarranted threats of police intervention.

I flew into Vegas alone until my family were to come the next day. I had an airbnb and could not check in until later in the evening. I did some research and came upon this mall. I had been to Vegas before. But. This really interested me. And boy was I glad to get there. I took the deuce (the bus as it is called in Vegas). And was very surprised. If you look over. You can still see the hotels in the background of Vegas. The palm trees were so pretty. And lots of people and families were out and about. My first stop was to get lunch. I went to a place called 2 hands. A Korean corn dog stand. I loved it!. I also had a boba tea at 'Chewy Boba Company". There was a line so I knew this place was going to be good. The weather was amazing in Vegas for a November. This place is hug. I went shopping to many of the stores I was familiar with in my home state. And many stores I never heard of. The whole place had a great vibe. I was very happy I was there to experience an amazing place. You will do a lot of walking and you have to watch out for the cars. Going back to catch the deuce . There is a long walk back to the bus stop. Things appear close but. Are far away. So comfortable walking shoes are a must. I even interacted with the locals to get a take on what they like to eat and where to go. The locals are more than happy to tell you. On my next trip to Vegas. I will definitely be back here.

I went to the Lindbergh store and would definitely go back. The shopping center is convenient and away from the Strip which is great if you're not into the crowds. Lots of shops and restaurants more locals and less tourists. Feels safer than the Strip or Downtown.

Good central meeting place with a lot of food options and fun areas for kids to play in including a large grassy area with benches for parents to sit on and hula hoops!

Great retreat from the strip. We actually walked approx. 5 miles from the Venetian to Town Square and it was an easy walk along the right side as you head south. Town Square was very clean with lots of shops and restaurants. Very nice get away from the strip and nicely decorated for Christmas.

The favorite part of my experience is that Town Square is a SAFE place and lots of locals here versus tourists at Fashion Show Mall. The Strip is NOT a safe place and tourists are easy targets. South Premium outlet mall is awful. No need to go all the way to PRIMM outlets. North Premium outlet is limited. This is the place to do some serious shopping, eating, watching a movie, . . . I'm from Las Vegas and at first I thought this was a bit out of the way. It's not that far from the south Strip and it has become my favorite shopping and dining location.

Even though I prefer their old children's play area, I am so happy they didn't get rid of having a play area all together. The splash pad is always nice on a summer day after being at GameWorks or after eating lunch/shopping.

Town Square is my favorite Mall. There are many great stores and several great places to eat. Gameworks is located here as well as a movie theater. There is a Bath & Body Works, Old Navy, Ulta and Sephora. California Pizza Kitchen and Brio. They decorate nice for the holidays.

Is the shopping at town square any cheaper than on the strip or is it the same just not as busy ?

The prices are not cheaper in all stores but you can find some good deals. It's the atmosphere of Town Square that we enjoy since it is an outdoor Mall.
Unique in it's own way and they do have outdoor entertainment; movie in the park, vendors, a play area for kids which is nice during the summer, has water shooting out from the ground.
If you are looking for gifts to take back home, the strip has better deals, like the saying goes, "you get what you paid for!"

Hello,
I'm from a very small town so I'm a little confused by all this Las Vegas stuff. I see that the shuttle from the hotel we are considering is 24 hours to Town Square and Mandalay Bay. We are going to a show at Planet Hollywood. Is that part of the Town Square, would the shuttle take us there?
Thank you!

Planet Hollywood is not part of Town Square. Town Square is an outdoor mixed use shopping center with dinning, bars and a movie theater as well as office on the upper floors. I'd ask the valet or front desk if a shuttle gets you close to Planet Hollywood or take a cab/uber/lyft. Las Vegas has tons of visitors during the slow times and you don't want to end up far away when you have a show or reservation to make. Depending on the hotel you are staying at it may just be easier, and faster, to walk. I hope this helps. Enjoy Las Vegas its a great town!

Hello. I'm planning to walk from Mandalay Bay to Town Square. Does anyone know if their are sidewalks all the way? Or any issues with the roads? Taxi or bus is not an issue. Just like to walk.
Thanks

is there a shuttle from excalibur?
Donald S
Comstock Park, MI2,847 contributions
No there are no shuttles. But a taxi could take you there. I know the outlet mall is only 5 miles from Excalibur, and that trip would run you about $15.00 one way. The Town Square is even closer. If it was a cool day, you could almost walk it if you were fit enough.
