Our ride was very easy. We took two kids with us and they had the time of their lives. The horses are very gentle an easy-going. They didn’t have a problem with the kids riding them or the adults. Our tour guide was very sweet. She made sure to give us instructions of how to guide the horses and also took pictures of us throughout the tour and sent them to us. Very great experience. We will be going back.

We were pretty excited about booking this, and it lived up to its expectations.
We were a little concerned after we did the booking that we didn't have a specific "address" to meet the host at to start the ride. We had a bit of back and forth texts about various things, and we kept asking for an "address". What we got was coordinates, which concerned us. It shouldn't have, as when we put the coordinates into Uber (and maps) it gave a specific location of the Uber driver to take us.
We were met by Charlie, right on time. He then set us up, saddling horses, doing the paperwork, getting water etc. We then rode off (literally) into the sunset.
We rode for the solid hour as advertised, in the beautiful hills. It was a fairly sedentary ride, which was good given that 3 of us hadn't been on horses before the and other 2 minimal. The horses were very well mannered and it was a pleasure spending the time with them.
After the ride we had a basic bbq dinner, with ribs, corn bread, beans and a blueberry pie.
My notes to anyone looking to do this ride are: 1. make sure you arrange your transport and get there on time (or slightly early). 2. Don't freak out about the coordinates, they work in Uber/Lyft etc. 3. Enjoy the experience and don't read too much into anything else.

You did not arrange transportation with us. You canceled your tour at the time it started. It states we do not provide transportation in the pricing at time of booking. We sent directions and a map and even a map / directions how to use uber. We sent our address multiple times. You confirmed you knew where to go but you just did mot want to come to us. If you did not know where we were then how else would you have known we were 30 minutes from Luxor? Your review is not accurate and is incorrect.

Hi! Not sure why you wrote this review since you did not experience our tour. Not sure how you’d know our guides payment arrangement but The trail guides don’t only make tips. We have a sign at the trail site that states “ if you enjoyed your ride please tip your guide”. That’s not begging or forcing tips it’s just a sign since we are in Las Vegas which is a Tipping state. Our horses are featured in magazines, commercials, films and music videos for their beauty. They are very well groomed because they are also show horses therefore they are not poorly groomed. The horses have days off and are not overworked like other companies therefore they are not exhausted just very well behaved horses. The owner is not onsite and doesn’t handle clients only the guide does at the tour site so there’s no way of you getting a childish attitude or argument from owner. Either this review was meant for a different company or your someone writing a false review? Please remove before legal action is taken for a false review of our company.

Super unprofessional. We texted to confirm and then they tried moving us to multiple different times because of a heat advisory at our scheduled time and when we said we couldn’t because we had other reservations and we felt uncomfortable about the heat advisory and wanted a refund, they avoided it completely and then never answered. Multiple phone calls and texts (which I have saved) and they completely ignored them. If they couldn’t give a refund they should’ve at least answered back and said they couldn’t but they chose to ignore us completely after reaching out multiple times. Don’t waste your money. Not sure why they’re offering certain times if they’re going to try to move people to different times because of heat. We never ended up going because they never answered and decided to completely ignore us. Very unprofessional

Hi! The reason we offered a different time was because Las Vegas was experiencing higher than normal temperatures for June. There was not a heat advisory just warmer than normal. Because of the unusual change in weather ( which we could not have predicted) we offered you a FREE upgraded tour for the evening ride. Your group stated you did not want the upgraded time and would keep the 1 pm ride time so we told you that you can still come to the 1 pm time slot you booked since you didn’t want the upgraded tour. Your group then insisted that you cancel and get a refund for the tour that was scheduled to happen within 24 hours. The issue with this was that we had saved these spots for your group and with in a 24 hour period we do not issue refunds. You then texted us and threatened that you were Attorneys from Manhattan and would handle our small horse business. At that point since you had stated you were canceling multiple times we stopped communication as the tour was canceled and we don’t appreciate threats because your group changed their minds about riding. When you signed up to ride you agreed to these policies.

Was the worst ride tour I have ever been on. Grace was very rude and mean to the horses. She smacked one of them and told him “to back your ass up” in front of paying customers. One of our party was not feeling well land was offered a unopened bottle of water and grace proceeded to tell us “No she can wait to get back to trailer. I have water”. Which turned out to be the horses drinking water to which she told customer “Go dunk our head in the horses water barrel” which had flies flying around it. The horses were great. I’m sure this place is great from the reviews I read but Grace is not.

My husband and I booked the Sunset Dinner ride which includes a ride and cowboy dinner, with the $20 tip suggested it was about $220.

The location they start at is about a $30 Uber ride from the strip so we rented a car for the day. It was easy to find based on the email they sent with gps coordinates.

The sunset was pretty and the ride was basic. It was basically a a flat dirt loop, with a couple small ups and downs. If you are an inexperienced rider, this would probably be great for you. If you have experience and want something a little faster than 3 mph I might recommend another ride. On one of the declines one of the riders got a little spooked as the horse sped up a little. This was one of two times we had to stop and help the woman calm down and get comfortable again. We were never asked our riding experience in the registration process. The woman who had issues had no experience and was placed in the back.

The ride was a slow walk (my husband said he was bored). With 7 people on the ride there’s no way we would be able to hear the guide so we basically just talked amongst the riders in the back.

When we got back the guide said she radioed in for the meal we got with our package. There were two tables set up but when the other truck arrived we were handled a bag with to-go boxes. We asked if the guide would be sticking around while we had dinner and were told no, they pack up the horses and leave. So we walked back to our car and sat in the car with our ribs, macaroni salad, cornbread and cold slice of apple pie.

Minus the meal, that I could have lived without, I won't say this was a bad experience. However, I have been riding in Yellowstone, Montana, and several others places and for anyone with experience I wouldn't say this is the right tour. But for a family looking for a first experience it should be nice.

Hi:) On our booking form we do ask for experience weight and age and if anyone has medical issues we need to be aware of before your tour. We also ask again before mounting you on your horse. The reason the woman was in the back was because she had not ridden before and was put on on of our slower gentle trail horses that are for children. The “kids” horses walk more in the back because they walk slow for the beginner to make it a good experience for them. In the state of Nevada it is against the law and insurance policy to go faster than a walk. This goes for every trail riding company in this state. If you wanted to ride without other clients we do have the private ride option that is presented when booking :) We pride ourselves on keeping our client tour numbers down for the rides to give our clients a better experience. All The other Las Vegas horseback riding tours would have had more like 15-20 riders in your group with you, we try to keep it at Max 7 riders (this is a small group) unless a larger group wants to ride together. Only if clients request their food to go do we give it to you “to go”. Otherwise we encourage you to sit at the dining tables and eat and enjoy the sunsetting and the stars as they come out. On the date you rode it was somewhat windy and your family opted to eat in your car because of it. That was also why it was hard for you to hear the guide tell you about the scenery etc on the ride. Sadly We can’t control Mother Nature when it gets windy in a desert :) glad you enjoyed the sunset views:) our desert scenery is different from Montana as we are in Nevada with different wildlife and scenery than Montana with trees but we have a very pretty ride full of different rock formations and variety of bushes scrubs trees etc and a inactive Volcano that you can’t see on other tours :)

I was part of the group that got caught in a sandstorm. First, there should be a guide in the front of the line and one in the back. For safety issues, like what we went through. Second, there should be a 10-15 minute intro teaching people how to navigate the horses a bit. The whole situation was TERRIFYING. The horses kept stopping to try to eat during our tour and wouldn’t like up. We had to stop several times. On the way back things went very wrong. The horses spooked and took off running. Luckily no one got SERIOUSLY hurt. My fiancé did hit his head and is covered in bruises and cuts. The family we were parked with also walked away with some scrapes and minor injuries. Luckily the children were not harmed. Mind you they were children who witnessed their parents fall off the running horses. I know the guide tried his best in this situation but they need to have a better plan for the worst case scenario. When we got back they tried to offer us our “lunches” that we weren’t interested in. It didn’t look like the pictures here at all and it was thrown away in the garbage.
