Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We came by on a Thursday to check out the area. Not much going on and wasn't even sure if it was open. Maybe a great place for an open studio event but not much to see on a regular day

It was fun to explore the Arts Factory to see many different types of art for sale. Each of the galleries had different hours so we weren't able to see every shop during our visit. Each shop had its own vibe and some of the artists were definitely more friendly and eager to have customers than others. We ended up buying some very reasonably priced original flower watercolors from Anja at the A W Gallery on the first floor. She was very helpful and accommodating.

I enjoyed a lot visiting in the various galleries and the artists' studios.
I loved a lot some of the interesting Artwork.
The artists and the gallery owners were all very receiving guests. I had interesting conversations with some of them.
Unfortunately, though We arrived about 12 pm, only about half of the studios and galleries were open.

However, we found the art district quite deserted, and not lively as it was supposed to be.

A great place to visit to see locally made art and meet local artists. The building is comprised of art galleries and studios, providing a lively experience and a wide range of art styles. We started our Las Vegas Arts District tour here and it was a gem in the area and serves as the gateway to the Las Vegas Arts Distict. We were lucky enough to be there on a First Friday which included many additional art vendors, live music and food trucks.

Although the ads say this place is open at 9am, not one single gallery was open at 11am. this is definitely a very late afternoon and evening event place. Don't bother to show up if there isn't a planned event. sorry i wasted cab fare to get there.

A great place to visit to see the local art seen in Las Vegas. There are 20+ gallery showcasing all styles of art including pop, abstract, photography and more.

The location can't be beat, next to restaurants, coffee shops, breweries, galleries and shops. A fun way to spend an afternoon.

Note: Each gallery sets their own hours.

You think of Las Vegas and think of only 1 thing - The Las Vegas strip. You'd never know that real people live in the city and that they all don't live in casinos. Further, you'd never know that anyone COOOOOL lived there and that there is an actual culture there.

Downtown Las Vegas offers people the authentic side of Las Vegas. Main street, The Arts Factory, ArtSquare. These are the places where Las Vegas artists live and create. You'll get to see them creating live in their gallery. No other place in Las Vegas offers this. Ride the Downtown Loop! It's FREE to get all around Downtown. Take it up to Fremont east. You'll see TONS of murals. Life is Beautiful and Downtown Project have really done wonders :)

What a place to call home!!

I recommend a visit here to speak with the very friendly artists and gallery owners who are eager to engage you in conversation and tell you about their art. There is no hard sell here. Vegas has a small Arts District but it is an earnest one and the artists take their work seriously. Have a look around the surrounding streets for art on the corners and the sides of buildings.

Some nice art, poor service. Many of sales people are on cell phones all the time or on facebook the whole time you are in the shops and trying to ask a question about the art seams to be real burden and is like trying to wake a tiger out of its den from a deep sleep? This art center would last about 1 month in Carmel, Santa Fe,Sedona or New York!

We were exploring the arts district and came across The Arts Factory bistro. We stopped for a beer on their outdoor patio area and it was one of my most enjoyable hours in Vegas! We were sat on some cool reclaimed furniture, there was an amazing band playing called Out of Desert (along those lines) and there were people having a drink or eating Sunday brunch. It was a great chilled atmosphere and the server was lovely too. What a find! So glad we stumbled upon it!
