    Walk, Weed and Booty!
Lots of walking, interesting people and the perpetual scent of weed in the air! Please leave your children at home! Lots of booty (for pictures and a price!) on display and it takes a while to get to the casino next door!

    long walk
The hotels are close enough to be able to visit them. The stores are great. So much construction going on, I didn't like it. The streets are cleaned up....no more homeless on the streets, that was a welcome site.

Got to go once in your life
Had always said we would visit one day. Can get very busy especially at night but never felt unsafe. Lights at night are spectacular. Popping into various themed hotels is good fun. Miracle mile good for cheap restaurants. On the negative side permanent smell of cannabis which is unpleasant. Not disappointed but won't be coming back.

    Something for everyone
The casinos, the restaurants and bars, the show, the people watching ... even a goldola ride in the heart of Venice. The Vegas Strip is like a giant theme park that literally has something for everyone. At all hours of the day or night!

    It’s Vegas!
Love the sights, especially at night. LOTS of people! Very expensive!! Avoid the 360 degree VR ‘chairs’. Three minutes of mediocre virtual reality with a cheap Quest style headset, for $35+ U.S. Go see Flyover at the former Hard Rock café, much better experience, and cheaper to boot!

    Super walkable
Came to Las Vegas for my sister's 21st and what a way to celebrate! You must definitely can't walk from the airport to the strip, as it all seems a lot closer than it really is, but once on the strip, you can easily walk from one end to another. may take a bit of time but hey that's how you see everything and discover the little hidden gems of the strip. If you don't like walking they have a couple of monorails from different hotels to take you around and there are plenty of escalators to take you up and around the overpasses to make walking the strip more convenient. Be prepared though there are dudes trying to hand out cards and CD's and they will make you pay if you touch/ take them. Can also get really hot during the day and with the sun reflecting off the hotels and pavement so make sure to wear comfy shoes and water.

Why You Come to Las Vegas - Adult Playground of Lights, Shows and Meals
We visited Las Vegas as the final part of our 8 couple Spring Break trip after seeing the Utah 5 national parks. I will say most of our group were not gamblers so we were looking for other attractions in the city and the Strip itself is a highlight. We stayed at the Paris Las Vegas, ate at many places along the Strip and saw two shows on the Strip, the Beatles Cirque du Solie and Matt Franco's Magic Show. Whether day or night there is always something to do here. This is why you come to Las Vegas in so many ways.

    Be prepared to walk.....a lot!
It`s not really possible to sum up the strip in one review. 3 or 4 miles of huge casino resorts, free shows such as the Bellagio fountains & mirage volcano, (be quick, it `s going this year, cafe`s, bars, shops, etc are what`s on offer. Everywhere is further away than it looks, It can take 10 minutes to walk past just one of the big resorts. Wear comfortable shoes & clothes and stop off for drinks along the way, and if you decide to explore any of the big hotels, allow at least an hour for each. We enjoy picking a street-side cafe or bar and people-watching for a while before heading off to explore further.

    Amazing Experience
Las Vegas is for everyone even if your not a gambler, we walked from hotel to hotel just enjoying the experience and air conditioning. Felt very safe all the time day and night. Make sure you check the times to see the fountains erupt at the Bellagio and the Volcano at the Mirage- amazing and not over crowded. Use Walgreens and CVS for cheaper drinks to take to take in your room than hotel prices, seems to be a thing that wandering around drinking is quite popular for all ages. Use the Deuce bus to Hop on and off, better to by a 3 day pass rather 24 hr pass. Do compare Uber prices to local taxi's as did not seem to be same charges as UK so not always cheaper. Be prepared to tip but we had amazing service everywhere so well worth it. There is a free tram from Mandela Bay to save a few foot steps if walking down to the Las Vegas Sign.

A lot to explore along the Strip, but do it at night!
Fun to walk or drive up and down the Strip, but walking should be during the evening time in July. Otherwise, it is so hot! It got to 107 degrees when we were there in mid-July. It is also nice to see it all lit up in the dark. Free parking is offered by only few hotels. The rest seem to have free parking for 1 hr. The hotels we parked at for free were Treasure Island, Venetian and Rio. The Strip is huge though.

It is really hard to describe the strip, it is a great place with about anything you could want. The casinos/ hotels are all over the top and offer a different vibe. There is a lot to see and don’t be fooled by the actual distance between places, it might look close but it can be quite a walk just from one to the next. It is a sight to see and really comes alive at night.

We don’t come here often, however highly recommend enjoying the site’s & sound coming from the Strip! We like taking a cab if we travel too far, as it’s easier on the feet! Restaurants, shops plus seeing interesting 🤨 characters!

I have been to the strip many times, it was nice but I found it a little run down after COVID, a lot of detours to get around. It was still nice - that "Vegas" vibe was still in the air.

An amazing experience. So much to do and see. Unfortunately the experience was marred by the Formula One set up. I’d recommend if you’re not there for the F1, that you don’t go in November.

I was so blown away with my first visit to Vegas! There’s just countless options of things to do. Even if you’re not a gambler (which I definitely am not) there’s still so much to do. I think Vegas has realized that the newer generations don’t care as much about gambling as the previous generations so they’ve been trying to shift into more shows and entertainment. I don’t even know where to start (check out my other reviews). The Big Apple Coaster was a blast, Stranger Things Store is a must-do if you’re a fan of the show, The Linq Promenade was a cool spot, and it’s just mind blowing walking through all of the hotels and casinos. Another great thing I didn’t realize is there’s amazing resorts for all kinds of budgets! If you wanna really treat yourself to a luxurious/expensive stay, then choose Belaggio, Mirage, Resort World, Wynn, The Venetian, Caesars Palace. If you don’t plan on staying in the room much and don’t wanna spend as much on your stay but still wanna enjoy a cool spot, then go Flamingo, Luxor, Excalibur, New York New York, Mandalay Bay. Every single hotel has something really cool and special to offer!

Vegas is outrageously expensive and nearly impossible to get around for someone that can’t walk far. Views are occluded by construction for Formula One. Crowded. Unpleasant. I have been 4 times. Never felt this way on first 3 visits. Have to go off the strip, slogging through ugly construction to get $5 BlackJack. Don’t go.

Busy, bustling, noise and lights, pretty much sums up the strip. I don’t mean these things all negatively or positively it’s just the atmosphere of the strip. It had been nearly 24 years since I had visited so things had changed. The hotels are magnificent, great options for food and entertainment. The negative side was the obnoxious traffic, rudeness of people ( I am well traveled and this was the rudest environment I have been yet), pot smell galore ( eat gummies until your hearts content people!). It is worth the visit, just know it’s pricey to eat, drink water or soda. Plan a Walgreens trip to get water & soda for your room, $5-11 for bottles of water and soda when dining… food was a bit pricier than I expected. Over all the positives outweighed the negatives of the experience, thus the 4/5 rating. It is a unique city with lots to do!
