Great place to get out of the city for a hike. Much less crowded then red rock but just a few minutes away. There are a variety of hikes available some of which are easy and flat (around the lake) and others are more strenuous (up the canyon). There are also events here such as outdoor yoga and nature walks.... More

We saw it on the Red Rock Canyon when we visited someone from Wisconsin! What a wonderful experience! The grass IS greener! What a place to visit! Our tour guide was superb! ( She has been on in 13 years!) What a wonderful scenery! Even saw the Vera Krup diamond that was stolen and then recovered! Saw the Howard Hughes... More

Spent the weekend camping here and had a great time. Lots of hiking trails and the history of the ranch is interesting. Maybe a half hour drive from Las Vegas, you can see the glow but not the city. There are picnicking areas with grills and shaded areas to relax. Saw some wild burro's walk through a pasture. I would... More

We stopped by here as part of our Red Rock tour. Although it takes you back in time I couldn't help but think I wanted to live there. It was a lovely ranch, full of history and we had a thorough guided tour through the house followed by lunch in the picnic area. It is certainly worth a visit for... More

We were amazed at how green the grounds and grazing area for the cows were! The docent guided tour gave us an inside view of the beautiful home and it's history. Loved the story of the Vera Krup diamond and it's robbery & recovery.Enjoyed the short hike beyond the pasture to Harriet Lake, the Wilson family cemetery & old cabins... More

At least 10 degrees cooler than Vegas. I'm a Vegas local and this was my first time coming to the Park. It is a short drive away from the business of the city. The view on the way there was breathtaking, once we arrived we went hiking thru the colorful mountains which was amazing. There is a historic house to tour... More

We found out about this place because of an app tour guide, GyPSy Guide: Vegas to Red Rock Canyon. We did not do the place justice time wise but enjoyed ourselves tremendously talking to the docents who can tell you cogently the history of the ranch with its varied owners but also their own history which is equally interesting. Our... More

Fun venue with blankets and low back chairs. We brought dinner and wine and enjoyed while watching a talented cast perform "Get It On". They do have a snack bar and hot coffee. We took advantage of the handicap parking lot which was a short walk to the grassy audience area. Nice public restrooms. Entire staff worked hard to make... More
