Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Wasn't the gallery recently moved? Anyway, the collection is impressive but try to go when the gallery first opens, especially on weekends it can become crowded, although I think they only allow so many in at a time. You are supposed to listen to the audio but there is always someone who has to run their own commentary!

I saw the Primal Water exhibit and I enjoyed the art. (I was with my 61 year-old mother who said she “didn’t get it,” so make of that what you will.) The staff couldn’t have been friendlier and the audio tour was interesting. However, I didn’t realize it was only two small rooms! I thought the price ($14) was steep, relative to full-scale, world class art museums. I had to remind myself that this is Las Vegas and things are very pricey...That being said, I wouldn’t necessarily make a point to come here, unless you have a special interest in the themes or artists being presented. If you want to inject some culture into your visit to the Bellagio, you can also check out the free Botanical Gardens or the free gallery of Cirque du Soleil sculptures just outside of the “O” theater.

Walking out of a cafe at the Bellagio we came by this exhibit and immediately purchased tickets to visit the exhibit. Really good history using new clips, Boards, pictures and clothes/gloves. Enjoyed the visit and recommend it.

Okay so it wasn’t no photos just no photos of the only two historic pieces of art in the whole gallery. The rest of it was about a dozen pieces of modern Japanese pottery and two modern art pieces. For $15 or part of the 3 for $57, they could have done so much better. Now I will commend the lady at the admissions desk, she professional, friendly and helpful.

We have visited Bellagio's Fine Art Gallery in the past and we were looking forward to the In Bloom exhibit. To say we were disappointed in an understatement. There were very few pieces and it took about 15 minutes to go through the exhibit (that included reading the information about each piece). I have never felt as ripped off as I did with this exhibition. $40.00 wasted

The Bellagio Gallery of Fine Art currently has a Picasso exhibit. While I generally like the Bellagio's exhibits (the last one, focusing on some Fabarge works, was fabulous), this one is not for other than the Picasso aficionado. Yes, there are 45 pieces, but most are in runs of lithographs, with modifications to the original. For the general public, it's like one of those "Can You Spot The Differences In These Seemingly Identical Pictures?" We don't do the audio tour route. Actually, we know what we're looking at. Still, we took our time, did a lot of discussing and comparing to other Picasso work we're familiar with. Even so, it took us perhaps half an hour. At close to $20 a ticket, that's not much bang for the buck.

This is one of those reviews where you wish you had a range of stars to give. I've been to the Bellagio Gallery of Fine Art a few times....and would give 5 stars. It is small but the times I went it was packed with fabulous works of art....Picasso's, Monets, Renoirs, etc. Once was when Steve Wynn had his collection there in the early days of the Bellagio and once we visited and Steve Martin had some of his collected works of art displayed. On my visit 6/15/17 we went expecting to see Fine Art...oils, water colors...maybe some artistic photography, etc. We were admitted to the gallery and realized that there was a tribute and exhibition to Muhammed Ali. Now, I am fan of Muhammad Ali and actually saw him light the Olympic Torch in Atlanta during the '96 Olympics I don't consider photos of him or replicas of his bicycle, etc...Fine Art. We thought we would still see some paintings or sculptures but when we peered into both rooms we saw it the entire gallery was devoted to the Muhammed Ali exhibit. We were able to get our money back as that was not why we went. The girl who waited on us was a bit perturbed that we requested our money back (we were only inside for 5 minutes before exiting). When I told her I didn't feel that this exhibit was "Fine Art" she said "Well, to each his own". LOL! Anyway, if you do plan on visiting this gallery make sure you know what is being exhibited. The exhibit changes about every 6 months we were told.

To call this a "fine art gallery" borders on rip-off. This has NOTHING and I do mean NOTHING to do with the term "gallery" as in the museums and galleries of our times. I don't think it could even be called a "small private collection".
For 16 dollars you can fill about 5-10 minutes maximum browsing through two small rooms with some changing exhibition of a few lesser and unimportant 3rd grade works of some otherwise renounced artist, whose name was obviously chosen just to drag unsuspecting tourists into this "attraction". Don't waste (a little) time and (far too much) money on it!
It is definitely NOT worth seeing, even it was free - which it, of course, isn't.

We saw a first rate exhibit of impressionists here. It’s not a big gallery, and the admission is pretty expensive for what you get, but if the quality is good, it’s worth considering. Look for discount coupons.

Primal Water: An Exhibition of Japanese Contemporary Art
Primal Water, the BGFA exhibition curated by Midori Nishizawa, highlights important works of post-war Japanese art. Throughout the exhibition, Nishizawa uses water as a motif to present a survey of Japanese Contemporary art history. The featured artists approach the theme water in a myriad of ways from documenting its absence, capturing its abundance, decontextualizing its existence, and exploring its relationship with humanity. Nishizawa finds a meaningful connection between Las Vegas as an oasis in the desert and this very universal theme as we fight to protect the global environment and access to clean water.

Would it be ok to bring a child to this gallery? We are in Vegas for the first time on our way to visit the Grand Canyon and not exactly sure what to expect!
Written 8 October 2015
Honestly it might be pretty boring for the child. The gallery is a moderate sized space and usually very quite due to the mass availability of audio tours. It is a rotating attraction and currently Picasso is on display, though most of the work is his less widespread stuff. Mandalay Bay Shark Reef might be a better speed for a child.

You can spend as much or as little time going through the exhibit as you want, but i would say one hour would be just about right.
