Incredible Walk into A Prehistoric Time

Great park on the outskirts of Las Vegas. Many areas to explore or just drive through. You can see history in the layers of rock. What an experience! Don't miss it.

The proper hikes are a minimum of 2 miles, but you can go part-way and return if that's a little too much. So much to see as you walk around - keep your eyes open and don't be in a hurry. The boulders and hills are so multi-hued, reds, pink, tan, white, blacks and greys and they change appearance as... More

If it isn't too hot, Red Rock Canyon is a great place to spend time outdoors near Las Vegas. The park is well kept and well managed. Scenic Drive Road and roadside facilities are good. Many trails of various lengths and difficulty. Great geology, plants and animals.

It's not a trip to Vegas without going to Red Rock Canyon. The best way to enjoy it is by car. When you enter, you get a map and can drive as Slow as you want to enjoy the Incredible scenery. Take your time, park and walk for a while. You will not be disappointed.

It is a one way circle to drive around the canyon. There was a very nice gift shop and information center. There were many trails, but we did not walk any.

My cousin got married in Vegas and we went to Red Rock Canyon to take pictures. The view was breathtaking! It's about a 25-30 minute drive from Freemont Street, and well worth the drive. There was only one bathroom at one rest stop that was open, so be prepared for that. I wish we had more time to stay and... More

Went on the Maverick morning ride and it was amazing. we were collected from our hotel around 07:45 and transported to the Bonny Springs ranch in Red Rock Canyon. There were 12 of us in total, 7 of whom decided to have breakfast in the bunk house on arrival. Whilst this was going on the other 5 completed the various... More

5 of us rented a car at The Mirage and drove to Red Rock Canyon. It was only about 1/2 and hour away. It was only a few dollars for the car to enter the park. It is a 23-ish mile loop of spectacular scenery. There are many places to park for hiking or viewing. We did a few short... More
