I went here with friends who live in Vegas. One of my friends has an access pass for folks with disabilities, so everyone in the car got in free. The conservation area is beautiful with a lot to see and do. It would be easy to stay here for an entire day. There is a visitors center with a few... More

Very scenic drive if your looking for something to do besides gamble, eat or shop. Grab a ride or rent a car either way it's a short distance from the strip. Don't forget your sneakers you might get lured into some walking or even hiking.

Take your time and enjoy the 13 Mile scenic loop! We went on a cold (40 fahrenheit) and windy day, so we didn't do much walking, but we drove slowly in our rented convertible with the top down and just enjoyed the quiet beauty (made even more enjoyable as a break from the nearby neon insanity of Vegas.

We try to block out a day to climb at Red Rock nearly every time we visit Las Vegas. Besides being a great way to diversify your vacation, it's a beautiful spot with amazingly scenic views. Tip: Take your camera! If you make it up to the top, you can actually see the strip! Highly recommend it!!

It cost $7 to drive through the area but is worth it. Wonderful views and scenery and, if you're prepared to do some walking and scrambling over rocks, even some ancient history.

I went with a group of people to Red Rock Canyon on a tour. The tour was great but the Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area was simply breathtaking! I would highly suggest to find a way to visit this beautiful area. Whether its on a tour or you rent a car. I promise you will not regret it! Sometimes... More

Great Climbing close to the city. Watch out for the + ratings and you'll be fine. Good hiking and not too hot in the fall.

Easy and more difficult trails. Great views of the area. Neat to see rock climbers. Want to come back in the spring for a different look for the vegetation.
