We had gone to Taylor Creek Visitor Center the day before and the park ranger recommended the Cascade Falls Trail. Last year we did the hike to Eagle Lake which we felt was really gorgeous. We enjoyed Cascade Falls but it was really hot and...More

Beautiful waterfall and view of lake at the end of the hike. Rocky uphill hike with beautiful views. Bring sunscreen and water, most of the hike is in the sun.

Beautiful views of Emerald Bay and cool pools for the kids to play in! A steep hike, maybe a little intense for the kids but scenic!

This is a popular trail; we saw many folks during our hike. Bring hiking staffs! This is a difficult hike with many steep steps on rocky terrain. The Forest Service descriptions need to be improved. Having said this we did enjoy the hike, at least...More
