Came up from Elko. Great drive, dirt road and long (50 miles, one way!). Used a Dodge Ram 1500 lifted 4x4, but a stock Jeep or other 4x4 would be fine in good weather. Beautiful scenery and very cool legend of the man-eating Giants that...More

The little town of Jarbidge is worth the trip. The river is small at the base of steep canyon walls. Great place to off road or hike. Make plans to go I the early part of July when hopefully the wild flowers are in bloom!

The town of Jarbidge is worth the trip in itself. Very small, lots of ATV's and camo but everyone was very nice. We ate lunch at the Outside Inn - quaint and food was ok considering they have no other services expect a very small...More

If you havent been to Jarbidge make plans to go. Ohh and it is "Jar-bi"dg"e not brige. Just a bit of FYI

Jarbidge is wayyyyyy up in the mountains along the Nevada/Idaho border. Great camping and if you feel lucky you might just pan a gold nugget or two out of the stream bed.
