Lake Tahoe did not disappoint. Even it was raining/snowing and cold I was so glad to get to see diamond bag and other parts of the lake. Look forward to another visit in the summer time when I can actually get out and see things.

Pick a beautiful warm day, arrive early and have a glorious day at the beach. Lake Tahoe is unbeatable and the State Parks can get crowded but they are generally well maintained.

Stayed overnight in Lake Tahoe and the next day took a four hour cruise on the Lake where we had a barbecue lunch. The views on the journey to Lake Tahoe and when you are there are stunning, a must see.

Good thing we visited Sand Harbor and Chimney beach before trying to find this, because despite multiple attempts, google maps led us astray. We gave up after several obviously wrong turns and of course, no signage.

Please don't come and plug up the roads! Sky is too blue, water is too clear, land is too beautiful for your eyes. they will hurt.

Drove out to the lake from Reno - perhaps 45 minutes or so. Gorgeous lake and mountains. There is a sand beach that is quite popular. You can swim in the lake and look up at snow-capped mountains!

Lake Tahoe is a so-called alpine lake. It's really nice and astonishing, it's one of those things you should have seen at least once in your lifetime. Try and book a cruise around the lake for better views and more background information. There are many...More

I really don't know, sorry. I am sure that if you called some of the equipment rental companies near where you are staying, they would let you know.
