It was lovely!! I was there in October and the crowds weren't bad. Very few people on the trails and once I started hiking, I felt like I had the place to myself. Amazing views. I will definitely be returning!

Spooner Lake, Cave Rock Beach and Sand Harbor are all part of Lake Tahoe Nevada State Park. At least during the quiet season - one entry fee paid at one of them, covers you for entry at the other two on that same day. We...More

Tahoe has developed into one mega resort. However there are still places away from the crowds that are pristine.

This is an absolute Must See for any visit to Tahoe. Amazing hiking with various trails both independent of and linking to the Rim Trail. Camping options, beach access, wonder photography vistas.

What a nice place for meeting your family and friends for Christmas . Although it wasn't snowing, everything was expensive and everywhere was full we had a great time.

There are three beautiful white-sand beaches, kayak rentals in the summer, a boat launching area, a protected beach good for children's play, a lovely, long sunning or swimming beach, stunning views of Lake Tahoe, picnic tables, a restaurant in the summer (with ice cream cones!)...More

Spent a day and took a drive around Lake Tahoe. The route was an easy drive with tons of pull over sites for photo ops. Found some cute restaurants and shops too. Can't wait to go back in the summer months and do it again!

Lake Tahoe is the bluest of blues. Try your feet in the water. Arctic ice, or so it seems. Even in the summer it is cold. I watch people doing water sports and I always wonder how and why. Perhaps in a boat. But waterskiing....More

Lake Tahoe did not disappoint. Even it was raining/snowing and cold I was so glad to get to see diamond bag and other parts of the lake. Look forward to another visit in the summer time when I can actually get out and see things.

I really don't know, sorry. I am sure that if you called some of the equipment rental companies near where you are staying, they would let you know.
