A wonderful Family mini hike for small children, youngsters and handicap accessible.. Very informative signs, bathrooms and wildflowers. Bring you binoculars and your wildflower ID book.

It was still covered in snow. People were sledding down the mountain. We couldn't see the trail because snow nearly covered the sign. The snow was piled up to 6 feet in some places. Saw lots of deer tracks and even mountain lion prints.

This is a free park service/forest service maintained trail loop just below the Mt. Rose summit going toward Incline Village. The area is wonderful from wildflowers to snow. Stop by and enjoy.

Also great for snowshoeing or cross country skiing in the winter. One of my favorite local trails. Very pretty.
