This place could be wow - but it’s missing it’s opportunities. It’s a shop full of plastic junk you could buy at Walmart, with exception of a few stickers that are probably out of stock anyway. Not worth the several hours drive to/from Vegas. It should be about information in the area, what/when/how/who with exhibits and stories and newspaper articles and photos and all that stuff, but instead it’s a wall full of graffiti.…

I specifically went to the store to get Area 51 souvenirs. The Alien Research Center wasn't open - it is in a trailer outside. Or maybe you have to ask to be let in there. They have quite a selection of souvenirs, knick-knacks and apparel.

Classic tourist stop. No research going on but plenty of off the wall knickknacks with and alien theme. Great signage for your Extraterrestrial highway photos. The staff is very friendly and can fill you in on everything to see and do in the area (not that there is a lot to do).
