The museum is a bit dated, but museums tend to be. The grounds of the museum include include homes of the past century, while the interior of the central building offers local Vegas historical information. The content is a bit dated and the museum is...More

Nice and small local museum. Inside had a cool history of the Strip. Houses outside were interesting. Not overly fantastic but cheap and kept us busy for about 90 minutes.

We stopped here because of references to the museum on Pawn Stars. It was a nice little detour from the hectic Las Vegas tourist traps. For the small admission price the offering was fine and enough to be if interest to anyone

The outside “village” exhibits are well interpreted and each one is a time capsule all its own. The nature trail did not have many signs but was and enjoyable walk through a desert-like setting. The outdoor mining equipment display could have been better with more...More

We are locals and have taken this field trip twice now. Both times learning more about this city we love and live in. My favorite part is "Main street"... seeing those first home when Vegas was up and coming. It reminds you of a street...More

Okay, I admit I did not just come out here to check it out. This is a popular school field trip here in Las Vegas. Most of it is outdoors. They have little houses that represent what it was like to live out here when...More
