It was an interesting stop with some good info but the locals kept advising me to call first as the hours were unpredictable. Still worth it.

Well curated and nice friendly staff/volunteers. I have been twice and around Christmas the rooms are decorated and they do candle light tours.

Lots of artifacts and info in this museum. The volunteers who operate this museum display a good history of the area. Be sure to check out the Fort Comanders home a short walk down the street. Furnished with authentic period furniture.

Sidney has amazing history. The museum board has put much effort to present the stuff in a fantastic manor. My favorite is the room dedicated to the Sioux Army depot. Very cool stuff in there.
