If you like history, railroads, or Union Pacific this is a must see. It is worth a visit with or without kids!

While we arrived with only 30 minutes remaining until closing time, it was well worth the time and visit. They do offer a military discount. The individual who was providing information on level 8 on 26 July was fantastic. This is a very informative opportunity.More

There is usually action going on all day long. There is a shift change at 3:00 pm and things typically stop and don't pick back up until about 4:00 pm. It is hard to say the very best time because it really depends on yard... More

The closest ice rink is in Kearney NE, 90 miles east of North Platte.

One hour minimum. There are a lot of things to look at but I would think most people would be ready to move on after one to two hours. Besides you want to allow two to three hours for Buffalo Bill's Wild West Ranch. BTW... More
