If you like historic railway equipment, this is a nice stop. The equipment is rare and very interesting. You have great access to explore the details of these large locomotives. There is not much in the way of interpretive signage. We should all appreciate that...More

We looked this up as a "fun stop" on our cross country road trip, and it did not disappoint my 4/6 year olds (or me). There were multiple playgrounds, plenty of open green space for running and frisbee, lots of animals to check out, and...More

We sought this out after visiting the rail yards tower. We were late in the afternoon and warned that it might be closed as the volunteers may close it up early if no one is there as it gets to be the end of the...More

We enjoyed seeing the train and the carousel and all the geese on the baseball field. (I'd hate to slide into base...) The animals in the zoo didn't look very happy in this small city zoo.

There are several things to see and do and it is free. Animals to see, trains to walk through and learn about, picnic areas, etc.

We enjoyed looking at and walking through these trains. We got some great photos! We got into town late so we only had a short time before they closed, if we would have had about fifteen more minutes it would have been perfect.

We toured this after visiting the Golden Spike Tower. The kids loved being able to go into the train engines and all of the cars. It was very educational. In addition there is an old depot there that you can tour.
