Linoma Beach is now open. Come out and enjoy sandy beaches, sand volleyball, and seasonal and local grilled food by Chef Brook Dill. Half way between Lincoln and Omaha on Highway 6, look for the Linoma Lighthouse. Open 7 Days a week, 11-5. Now Open, bring the family.

This place has not been open to the general public for a few years now. Can drive by the lighthouse which has been restored on the outside. Really nothing to do there unless you already have a camper space rented.

Food is expensive for a crummy salad bar. The giant lobster carries a giant price. Crowded, noisy.

It was nice for the kids. There are fun blow up water beach toys for everyone to try. I would probably go back.

1920's- 30's beach between Lincoln and Omaha, which explains the name, Linoma. There is a landmark historic lighthouse that is the feature attraction, along with the beach. Has recently been sold to new owners who plan extensive restoration. With a sensitive restoration, could be rated...More
