Be sure to have your cameras posed because there was a treat around every corner. We spent 4 days traversing the entire park and took every turnout. This is a national treasure not to be missed.

What an incredible river! Moves quickly and many rapids yet many pools. Breathtaking is not enough to describe it but it did cause my husband and I to exclaim with exuberance, "God is so good".

I have to say that the big wild blue yonder of this place is very fitting. It does not even fit into the pictures and your memory is about the only way to really show it as vivid as it really it.

It is easy to forget that we have a national treasure in Yellowstone and that it is still a wilderness area. The Yellowstone River winds through it with the dramatic Upper and Lower Falls and Artist's Point. Even if it has been years since you visited Yellowstone, do it again to waken your senses to ponderosa pines, rock, geysers, wildlife,... More

This is a beautiful view, with lots of wild life visible on the ride. Both the river and especially the lower falls were beautiful, framed in a recent snowfall.

Upper and Lower Falls as well as the Grand Canyon Of The Yellowstone were impressive sights. If it was not late evening we would have stayed longer.

The Yellowstone River is one of the impressive sites of YNP. Weather it is the falls of the grand canyon of Yellowstone or just watching the fly fishermen this river is a gem.

We visited in late September when the flow was low but both the lower and upper falls were still spectacular. If you are physically able the round trip on Uncle Tom's Trail is beautiful. Another viewpoint that offers awesome views of the upper falls is also a physical challenge but worth the effort. The views are still beautiful even if... More

The area around Canyon Village (ie., north rim drive and south rim drive) are among several of the 'do not miss' features of Yellowstone; absolutely stunning scenery (if you have to choose between here and Old Faithful, choose here)! Another thing to consider: I planned our trip to three National Parks (Grand Teton, Yellowstone and Glacier) in September, right after... More
