Stunning campus visually, and a top university internally. Plus it is still a bargain. We are proud alums. Refresh in the Copper Commons, visit the art museum, attend a concert or sporting event; it is all good.

I've never seen such happy forsythias! They were in full glory the days we were there. Very walk-able campus. Hope to make the hike to big "M" next visit!

Beautiful campus, lovely atmosphere, close to downtown. If you are fit, or want to be, the hike up the hill behind the campus is a great way to get an overall view.

This school was rather remarkable years ago, and due to circumstances beyond its control has fallen on hard times. Under Sheila Stearns, the place will get on the right course and will need some time to redefine itself. The future is bright for UM, and...More

Those who are looking for an outstanding education in an amazing setting should consider this. Never think that a small state cannot have a world class University. Montana does.

The University of Montana's campus is visitor friendly. Parking is abundant. Guided tours are available but we did not go on one. Everything is interesting, especially the library, book store & athletic facilities. Go Grizzlies!

Questions & AnswersAsk a question
We will be visiting Missoula in mid-July. Is there some kind of tour or student to hook up with to show me and my 16 year old son around, or should we just stroll around on our own?

Stroll around on your own or check with the registration desk which is in the food court adjacent to the bookstore. There is paid parking just above the bookstore building at $1 an hour.
