This was a pleasant little trip. The shady path is perfect, and the scenery is beautiful. The swinging bridge may not look very high up, but it gave us a serious case of sea legs by the time we crossed. Only 5 people can cross...More

Was heading east on MT 2 en route to Glacier NP and took a pit stop here and was pleasantly surprised; the swinging bridge is worth it alone, then you throw in the falls, lots of trails; tons of old river rock, and the peaceful...More

It is very serene and seldom overly crowded. The swinging bridge is a must and walking along the falls gives you the sense of the power of the river. Very scenic area of Montana. Just up the road is Ross Creek Cedar Grove which is...More

❤️❤️❤️this is a beautiful area for anyone who enjoys the outdoors. Perfect for families and pets and fun days with the one you love. The bridge is scary, but I overcame the fear today and went across. I've wanted to for years!! So much fun!

Not for the faint of heart or those afraid of heights. However, it's a must for us every time we visit Libby. Amazing vistas and a sense of the power of creation.

From Kalispell to the trail head which is just west of Libby is about 100 miles and easily done between 1:45 and 2 hours. It is definitely worth the trip. Bring snacks and drinks and don't miss going to the falls. It is... More

I saw lots of dogs on leashes. But going over the train tracks there are steps and a platform with sharp edges that I think would be hard on their feet. I wouldn't take my large dog across that.
