We were humbled by the beauty. Parking was across the street and free. Services are held several times a day. We felt welcome when walking around taking pictures.

This is one of the most beautiful churches that I have ever been in! The stain glass windows alone are worth the stop!

We visited Helena for the first time and were told that seeing the Cathedral was a "must." So true! From the outside, the building is majestic and well kept. Inside, it is filled with spectacular stained glass windows and marble throughout. As we entered, a parishioner who noticed that we were visitors said to us, "Check out the relics -... More

Having traveled to many cathedrals in Europe, seeing this extraordinarily well kept, magnificent and awe-inspiring cathedral was a highlight of our trip through Helena. You can't miss it as you enter the city as its two spires light up the sky with a Cross atop each spire. We were immediately drawn to go see the Cathedral even though it was... More

Wonderful architecture. We happily had a sunny day and the windows were outstanding. Very reminiscent of European design.

In visiting Helena MT with my 15 and 16 year old teenage grandsons, I (of course) checked trip advisor top attractions and was surprised to find this as #1!!! However, after visiting this beautiful cathedral I totally understand! It is beautiful and rivals some of the beautiful Italian domos I visited last year! Even the boys were impressed! Definitely worth... More

St Helena Cathedral is a must see attraction in Helena. If the Cathedral is open go inside and you will feel like you steped into a Cathedral in Europe.

My wife and I visited Cathedral on July 2nd. We have visited other churches in both the US and Europe and this rates in the top 10. A must see - not just a tourist attraction.

We have toured many many churches and this one is extraordinary for a city the size of Helena. It is beautiful-- the stained glass windows, the statues, the baptismal font, the stations of the cross. It is a cross of pre-Gothic and Art Deco and the architect was brilliant. Happy we stopped in and we also got to hear the... More
