The Cathedral of St Helena is a must see in Helena. I would put it up against the cathedrals in Europe. The stain glass in the Cathedral is amazing! Must see in Helena.

We visited the afternoon of Good Friday, the parishioners were just getting ready for a Station of the Cross service. We enjoyed the activity and the beauty of this church.

Helena is an unlikely location for an elegant cathedral such as this. Built in the glory days of gold mining wealth, it really is a must see for visitors and locals alike. It has an open door policy for visitors and is really worth a...More

When visiting Helena the Cathedral is a must see. It's as beautiful inside as it is outside. Self tour. You won't be disappointed.

All Catholics should see this church if your in the area. Kind of like the Cathedrals in Europe. After 30 minutes, kids got bored and restless. Tour guide was very informative but after awhile, talking about the stained glass can drag on.

This cathedral is stunning. Marble pillars, stained glass details. Go during mass to enjoy the organ music. Friendly locals add to the charm.

The history of the cathedral is linked to the early mining boom town. This is a must see attraction!

Another staple of Helena is the cathedral! It stands out and is absolutely gorgeous inside and out! If you come to Helena, this is a must-see building for the whole family!

This is a beautiful cathedral, and is a beautiful addition to any sightseeing a visitor may want to do in Helena, which seems to have plenty.

This question is too broad but if it is church related I would say the Sistine Chapel and St Peter’s Basilica in Rome

It was open when we were there on a weekday afternoon. I suggest you just go there. If it is not open, then wyou will still have seen some interesting houses along the way.
