Gene was our tour guide. He was a fun old timer that was very knowledgeable. We started out in the museum and worked our way around the block to the stairs leading us underneath the streets to the series of tunnels. There was a lot of very old artifacts. One unique artifact was a bottle of heroin in the pharmacy.... More

Found it amazing of the city underground and what prompted the people of Havre to go underground. This tour was very informative and fun to do. The tour guide was knowledgeable and had a wonderful sense of humor.

We had car issues which required a mechanic to inspect and repair our vehicle before we continued on our journey. Looking for something to do the receptionist recommended that we could spend a couple of hours to explore "Beneath the Streets". It is essentially a museum of the old town and full of history from the area with lots of... More

An entire business district below the streets was something we never thought about. Our guide, Kathy, provided an interesting tour with lots of information. She was open to all questions and was conscientious of the presence of children in the group as she talked about the brothel and opium den. This tour is wheelchair accessible.

Very family friendly. We went and we're given treats and pennies for treats. Kids enjoyed. The tour lasted about an hour.

I thought the tour was well worth the $15 adult admission. Our guide, Kathie, shared so many interesting facts with us. She has a great sense of humor and connected well with everyone on the tour. It lasted a bit over an hour, and it was amazing to see how the local businesses set up shop underground after the fire... More

Read how good this was, so stopped. First the tour went up apparently, it was $13. Our guide did not seem to care if we went or not. Tour was only half an hour. Not worth the money. Yes it was cool to be under the streets and the displays were nice, but she wasn't very informative and it definitely... More

You will see a complete city underground. The tour takes about 1 hour, and we had a wonderful guide that was very happy with her job, which makes the tour enjoyable. It is amazing to see this city and hear the story they tell you, well worth the few dollars for the education to see how people lived at that... More

This is the second time we've checked out Havre's Beneath the Streets. The first time was fun just because it was the first time. But this time was better because our guide, Kathy, was informative, full of historical facts and extra tidbits to make the tour even more interesting and enjoyable. She's a history teacher and loves gathering historical facts... More

This fascinating tour provided a combination of history, visual experience, and imagination. It was absolutely worth stopping in order to learn about this unusual moment in history and to grow in understanding about the people and businesses of the early 1900s. Kathie led the tour, and her insight made the tour so enjoyable and interesting. It also helped that we... More
