Our family enjoys going to Giant Springs because we can plan a picnic and play wiggle ball or frisbee in grass. Lots of shade and the park is well kept. You even get to see how the fish are bred and you get to feed the monster trout in their outdoor tank. Lots of fun, check it out!

I was really impressed by my brief visit to the Giant Springs. The layout of the park is wonderful and allows for a great environment to take in the scenery. This is a "don't-miss" for anyone visiting Great Falls. In addition to a beautiful park, it holds part of the Lewis and Clark history, and so much more. There is a trout hatchery here as well. Giant Springs State Park is the only Montana State Park with a fish hatchery on site. This is one of the many unique aspects of Giant Springs that makes it worth the visit. Beautiful place to collect your thoughts and enjoy the beauty. Great walking and biking trails. Very historicall sight. Can do shore fishing. Have picnics let the kids play, take in the many different birds. Crystal clear bubbling water pools you can see the fish swimming. No public swimming. I love this park! It's the most beautiful one in Great Falls in my opinion. Lots of trees, a big hill kids can roll down, a playground, you can feed fish (bring nickles), unique trails!

Giant springs park is a great spot for both locals and travelers to go and spend a couple of hours. Kids will love feeding the fish at the hatchery,as well as the playscape and areas to run around. The river trails are cool to go on a stroll. you'll see many waterfowl and migratory birds,even pelicans, etc. Have fun

There is a lot to see and do here at Giant Springs. The Park encompasses four waterfalls, five dams, an extensive trail system, the shortest river in the World (the Roe River), the Springs itself, and many breathtaking views! The Giant Springs State Park is a great place to take family and visiting relatives to view the fishery and the giant springs themselves. A very lovely park and recreation area for the entire family.

Here you see the world's shortest river (the Roe), a fish hatchery +museum as well as a special spot along the Missouri. The River's Edge Trail will bring you here as well as the road.

The Roe River is one of the many treasures here at Giant Springs. The Springs itself produces over 156 million gallons of water everyday! The water comes from the Little Belt Mountains 40 miles to the Southeast and travels in an underground aquifer until it surfaces at the Springs. Its pretty amazing!
