We are a small tour company that specializes in wildlife sightings in northern Yellowstone. Our specialty is wolf and bear watching and all of our guides are experienced wildlife biologists who are also very personable. We have been in business over 10 years, and consistently provide a very fun and memorable outing in the park.

Yellowstone is my favorite place on Planet Earth, and my favorite way to experience it is with Wolf Trackers. On May 14, I was fortune to be heading into the Lamar Valley with Wolf Tracker guide Lianna. Our ethereal journey of wonder & awe began before day break & lasted until late afternoon. I have been wildlife watching in The... More

Nothing lifts the spirits more than a day in Yellowstone with Yellowstone Wolf Trackers, and this was my sixth trip with them. While I always enjoy seeing the wolves, on this day in May, I told Bonnie my first priority was to see the baby bison with their characteristic exuberance. And, at first light, we discovered a herd close to... More

Be there early or not be there at all.We arrived at our destination with the most dedicated. The sense of community for beginners like us was totally embracing. We set up 5 spotting scopes to cover the entire horizon and if we missed a small section there was always somebody pointing out where the animals are. It was a complete learning experience... More

Howling wolves, moose, bald eagles, osprey, mountain goats, big horn sheep, red dogs, grizzly bear with her cub...we hit the jackpot! The point to the trip was to see the wolves of the Lamar Valley, and everything else was one beautiful bonus after another. We give Bonnie and Nathan all the credit. I'm not sure we would have spotted any... More

Had two fabulous days in Yellowstone with Bonnie in February. Our main focus was to see wolves and we certainly did that and more! Bonnie is an excellent guide with a knack of being in the right place at the right time. She has so much knowledge about all of the different wildlife making the whole experience so interesting. We... More

I wanted to take my 14-year old son on a trip that we would both enjoy and Yellowstone was perfect. My son was especially hoping to see wolves and The Wild Side tour guides were the perfect way to make that happen. Our terrific guides, Bonnie and Leanna, knew so much information about the animals and the park and shared... More

An outstanding way to see the wildlife of Yellowstone. Nathan, Linda and the other guides run a very professional tour. They are all very friendly, knowledgeable about the wildlife and experienced in finding them. Wolves were the reason we went on the trip and we did see the 4 wolves of the Lamar Canyon Pack. They were distant but one... More

When reading reviews, you wonder if they are legitimate. Not so with this one! Nathan and Linda are passionate about Yellowstone and protecting the wildlife, as are their guides Evan, Bonnie and Leanna. The staff went 'all out' in making this the Yellowstone trip of a lifetime. The park scenery is breathtaking all seasons of the year but, in all... More

Not just a wildlife tour but a life-changing experience. You go with the intent of seeing wildlife, with the focus on wolves. But you leave with the sense that you have experienced nature as close to its original form as North America has to offer. Each animal spotted adds to the understanding of the ecosystem. The communication between the Wolf... More

If you really want to see wildlife in Yellowstone, this is definitely the way to go! My wife and I previously visited Yellowstone. We loved the scenery, but didn't see much wildlife on our own. Nathan, Linda, Evan and Bonnie were all very passionate about their work, and knowledgeable about the wildlife and where to find them! The animal sightings... More
