This is a great little winery set on the shore of Flathead Lake in Dayton MT. I spent a warm fall afternoon sitting on the cozy patio enjoying the lake breezes and views while tasting delicious Montana made wines. They have something for everyone from whites, reds, fruits (the cherry is wonderful), ports and dessert wines. They have one of... More

Winery has a nice tasting room, 5 tastes for $5 waived if you purchase a bottle. Several very good award winning wines are available. The staff (owners?) were very pleasant and helpful. I highly recommend.

Very pretty grounds & places to sit outdoors if desired. There is a beautiful view of Flathead Lake & the surrounding mountains inside & out. Very nice wines, mostly grapes from Oregon & Washington & one or 2 from Montana. Our host Tim, was very knowledgeable & friendly. There is a tasting fee that is waived if a bottle (per... More

This may be a small winery but the wine is pretty darn good. Recently my boyfriend and I stopped in at the end of June. It was a beautiful location on our way back from exploring Flathead Lake. We were quite impressed by the deal to taste 5 wines and have it be free if you buy a bottle. I... More

Good selection of wines to taste. Nice gift shop. The best part was the view of the lake and sail boats sitting on the terrace drinking a glass of wine.

A small winery with views on the Flathead lake. Most of their grapes come from Washington, but they do grow locally their Pinot Noir. Good wines. We particularly liked their Pinot Grigio, their Merlot and their dessert wine "Nouveaux Riches".

Great taste testing. Very friendly. Nice atmosphere. Nice gift shop, specialty wines like Huckleberry Mountain and a very good, very rich chocolate dessert wine.

Mission Mountain Winery provides people a great opportunity to taste local wines. You choose five wines to taste from a larger list, which gives you the freedom to taste the types of wines you know you'll like (whites, blush, reds, and dessert). Each wine listed also has a description of the flavors underneath the wine name and the location the... More

I was not expecting to find good wine in western Montana. What a surprise. The vintner's wife was running the tasting room when we visited. What a delightful lady. She talked about the wines, the winery, and, of course, the vintner; poured us good tastes of her wines; and spoke with knowledge about the wines, the grapes, and the terroir.... More
