Dickerson Park Zoo is where people and animals connect. Enjoy getting outside and enjoying the natural beauty of the area while seeing and learning about animals from Africa, Tropical Asia, South America, Australia and North America. See the reptiles at the Ambler Diversity of Life center, ride the Titus Express miniature train, get up close and personal with the giraffes on the giraffe deck (giraffe feeding an additional fee but observation deck is free) and visit the petting zoo. Cafe and gift shop also available.

We visited during Spring Break. It was a cooler, rainy morning but we still enjoyed this zoo. It was larger than we expected. I think the elephants were the only animals not out that day, but it was probably weather related. We went primarily to...More

I've always loved the Dickerson Park Zoo. Lots of people compare it to the St. Louis zoo, which is very nice, but our zoo is nice too! They have lots of great animals and even added some new foxes this year. It's a nice family...More

We thought the Zoo would be small compared to most other Zoo's and were surprised at the number of exhibits on hand. We spent a good 2 hours walking thru all the exhibits and anther 20 mins in the gift shop. They offered some nice...More

What a great day! It was a warm Ozarks day in March! The lines were short and we had a blast! The lions were amazing and the monkeys were hilarious! We ran into a mutual acquaintance named John. The grizzley mountain man was hilarious and...More

Enjoyable day with the kids. Large enough variety of animals to keep them entertained and small enough zoo where can see everything in a couple of hours.

This is a great little zoo. We've been multiple times on the annual pass and it's well worth the membership fee. Some of the exhibits are a bit tired but it seems like they're doing improvements over the winter so looking forward to seeing what...More

This is a really neat zoo- well kept and pleasing visually. We spent the good part of an afternoon here and enjoyed the visit. The zoo does has an undertone of sadness as one of the tigers lost a limb after a mishap with another...More

This zoo is great. It has a variety of animals. The giraffes are definitely a highlight. I went with my young twins. Most of it was easily accessible with a stroller.

Really enjoy nature, and going to this zoo is a fun treat. It's not your big-city type of zoo, but it has a lot to offer. We went a while back so it's about time to go again
