The Fabulous Fox Theatre first opened in 1929 as a movie palace in William Fox's motion picture empire. The theatre was reopened in 1982, and today it is one of the most exquisite venues in the country to enjoy live touring Broadway shows, concerts, and comedians. We hope you'll visit us for an upcoming show or one of our guided tours!

My wife & I have attended stage shows and concerts at St. Louis's Fabulous Fox Theatre several times since it was completely restored and reopened in 1982. On every visit, my awe of the Byzantine interior with its elaborate decorative features and the acoustic quality...More

The interior design on this 1929 theater is over the top to say the least. We saw Bodyguard with rush night of tickets. Go to box office at 5PM day of. The tickets are $20,$30, or $40. We did the $40 and not disappointed

We took the 10:30 am tour of the "Fabulous Fox" Theater. This theater was built in 1927 and fell on hard times before closing in the 1970's. It was a shambles but was lovingly restored and now hosts broadway shows. There was a matinee show...More

This theater is beautiful. There are many good seats to choose from. Staff/volunteers are very helpful. There is no coat check but there is a brand new parking garage right across the street. It is well lit, guarded, patrolled and easily accessible.

I love the place. I wish I could be up there with the cast. Dave Ivan would love to see that. I admit that Les Miserables was hard to see because it was so dark.

My party-of-four sat in the Balcony Row E stage right for Straight No Chaser last month, and we could easily make out the singers' faces from there. But as I said in my review, the Fox offers binoculars for rent if you... More

I think if someone is over 300 pounds, they would be uncomfortable. However, there are areas in the balcony seated at tables and other special seating available that might be a bit more comfortable.
