The tour of this magnificent library is amazing. The character of the old building and all the artwork and finishing touches have to be seen. The tour provides much more information than just walking through the library. Well worth the time!

Not your regular library by any stretch. The sculptures, brass filigree and North 'Writers' Reflection Pool' do hide the practical stacks and e-systems of an incomparable 21st Century library.

We stopped in just because our innkeepers said it was worth seeing, and was it ever. Along with the lobby of the Union Station Hotel, this was the most beautiful "from a lost era" sight we saw. The ceilings are spectacular, the place is spacious...More

We visited this library so we could see the architecture. The building was renovated and expanded in 2012, about a century after it's initial construction. This extensive renovation restored and preserved the Great Hall while simultaneously adding enormous structural elements to the building. That mix...More

I didn't have time to check out the actual books, but it was really fun to take a quick look around. This library is an amazing blend of old and new. Half of it was very modern with clean lines, fun modern sculptures, and quotes...More

Great option if you want a quite place, large rooms in a nice building. Went in the evening to spare some time - it was not crowded, was impressed by the main hall, the nice area for youngsters and the room for kids.

I had a condo for during the work week on 17th & Pine. I used to drive by it each day, watching them during renovations. I finally went in after. It is so lovely. Great views in every direction. Truly a gem in the middle...More
