Concordia Seminary is one of my go-to places for strolling around. It's beautiful all times of year, but my favorite are summer and fall, because that's the best time to admire the secret edible gardens the groundskeepers manage to tuck into all kinds of corners. My gardener's eye has spied amazing lettuce and kale patches, blending in with the more... More

The Worship centre of Concordia Theological Seminary. Should you be fortunate enough to be there for a morning Chapel Service (none on Sunday though) or to hear a student practicing on the marvellous pipe organ, you joy will be doubled.

Concordia Seminary, in its current location, was constructed in 1925. The architecture is beautiful, and the carillon tower is amazing. Park and stroll across beautiful lawns, enjoy the serenity of enclosed quads, and stop to pray in the beautiful Chapel of St. Timothy and St. Titus (daily chapel services are open to the public). Parking is free, and the seminary... More

This is a beautiful chapel. Very simple and restful. It's part of Concordia (Lutheran) Seminary. They hold daily chapel services that are open to the public. Recently I went to a Bach At the Sem concert in this chapel. Bach At the Sem is a concert series devoted to music of Johann Sebastian Bach. The concert was packed! The level... More
