Great trip

Our granddaughter had the day off from school today so we decided to go to the science museum and she and we had a blast. Then watched the movie Extreme Weather. Wow was it great.

I've seen several movies here. The latest one, I saw, was Rouge One: A Star Wars Story. It's really awesome to see on the Omnimax screen. The best seats are near the top. They also have a large concession stand with a wide variety of snacks and drinks. You can even get juice in addition to the normal things like... More

Christine G- We're glad you enjoyed "Rouge One" in its (recently ended) run in our IMAX dome-format theater. The wrap-around sight and sound experience is quite impressive. Come back to the Science Center again soon for the just-opened "Dream Big: Engineering Our World" or "Extreme Weather". -John Wharton, Managing Director of Facility Operations More

I purchased a membership so that it was more economical to take my 4 grandchildren to the exhibits and omnimax options. I had more tickets to use and took a couple friends to see the National Parks Show. It was a wonderful production, featuring a theme of a family group visiting selected parks to fulfill a sense of adventure. We... More

Sattelite10- Thank you for your support and for being a Member. We're pleased that you enjoyed the national parks film that recently closed its run in the Omnimax Theater. Given the wrap-around projection dome and the immersive nature of the films, there are some who find the experience a bit intense. As you noted, sitting higher up helps in those... More

The Imax theater is inside the Saint Louis Science Center. This is not a part of the free admission to the Science Center. It cost us $45 for two seniors and three children. Having been to other Imax theaters, I thought the seating was not as nice as at other Imax theaters. The National Parks Adventure movie was enjoyable but... More

It was a very cool experience in a theatre like that! It is however very steep to walk up. So one must be careful not to trip going up the stairs.

Saw the IMAX film on the national parks this weekend. I liked the film format but has nothing on. I siting the real thing. I've been to many national parks so I was not amazed with the film. Don't get me wrong, I think it is great to promote the national parks and is a worthwhile activity for your dollars.... More

We went and saw a show at the Omnimax this past weekend, and it was amazing! Highly recommended! Make sure you sit as close to the middle of the theater as possible so you can see better, and make sure you are in line well before the show starts to get one of these good seats.

I have visited this beautiful building many times. They change their attractions frequently and they are always of interest. Like a box of chocolates. "You never know what you are going to get". But it is always educational and very entertaining.

A group of 10 of us get together regularly from Church and in late January we all attended the OMNIMAX showing of Jerusalem. Although we all agreed the movie's content was very good in showing the antiquity of this city, it's complexity and it's diverse cultural makeup several of us with some degree of motion sickness left feeling a bit... Omnimax is a great visual experience -- better for shorter cinematic offerings, as the seats aren't too comfortable for anything longer. It's big, it's bold, it's an experience!
