Wonderful visit. Nice visitors center and very friendly. It’s 10 bucks to get in and 5 more for the mini train ride around the property. You can get it cheaper on Groupon. Not a all day visit. We were there for about 5 hours and...More

The museum has much to see and do whether it's for a young child or an older adult. Displays and hands on exhibits are both inside and out. One will be amazed at the size and variety of steam engines. There is also a nice...More

This is a really nice Transportation Museum. I am a Railfan so the Train exhibits were what I wanted to see. I had been to this Museum in 1989 so it was quite an interesting second visit. They have done quite a good job expanding...More

This museum is a transportation lovers dream. I however am just mildly interested in this type of thing, so for me it wasn't completely worth the admission price. This also could have been due to the fact that it was over 100 degrees when we...More

This is a very nice museum with a timeline of the development of our transportation. There is some reading to do, but not so much that you want to skip ahead. There is a building devoted to unusual and antique cars and outside display of...More

My Husband and I just visited. Obviously great for kids but both of us (mid-30s) really enjoyed this museum. Definitely a well funded museum. Lots of interactive exhibits. Highly recommended.

This museum was one of the highlights of our spring break trip to St. Louis. There are makes of cars here that we had never heard of in Indiana and Michigan. My boys learned so much about trains! The staff is highly knowledgeable and friendly.

A huge collection of trains and train cars. Loved that you could go into so many of them. Kids loved the small train ride at the start. We've been to better auto museums but never a better display of trains.

It was raining but we were prepared to have to walk out to the trains. What we were not prepared for was to only be allowed into one caboose, one car and one engine. When we were looking into another car the lights went out...More

The entire museum can be easily seen within a four hour time span. If you take your time, of course, it can last longer.
