Great place to take toddlers or ten year old's. A great mixture of science and magic all wrapped in a "fun" shell!

We took our children, and then our grandchildren to the magic house. Quite a metamorphosis... Our children, usually more shy and reserved instantly launched into this "hidden" foreign entity. They wanted to try everything at rocket speed never mind that we were left in their dust. Returning years later with our grandchildren was unimaginable. Not shy and certainly not reserved... More

One of our family favorites - fun for all ages. Very educational and tons of opportunities for hands on experience. They often have special events that are worth planning the timing of your visit around.

All of the exhibits are interactive and hands on. The quality of exhibits was amazing as well. We could have spent all day there.

We went with our five year old and we're amazed by the sheer quantity of amazing things to do. This place has all the standard types of exhibits (e.g. groceries, construction, music, water table), but every one of them is the best quality version of that exhibit I've seen. I'd recommend anyone with preschool or early elementary aged kids dedicate... More

I take my 4 and 2 year old here periodically. It is always an enjoyable trip. Below are common scenes: 1. You kid will have information overload, but be hooked on one thing (at least mine are) for far to long. 2. There is always a clean bathroom nearby. 3. The cafeteria is small, but it never seems to be... More

The kids had a great time but honestly I did not find anything to be that special. Also we sure did find a way to lose everyone at different points throughout the visit, and the teenage staff members were not overly helpful. I am sure we will return, but I still prefer the zoo or science center.

We have been to several children's museums throughout the country, and this one takes the cake! It's all hands-on with simple things to experiment with like magnets and sand, to awesome technology like coloring a fish and having it show up on a projected aquarium or printing out a 3D design of your colored car. My 4 & 7 year... More

We took our two year old here to visit on a Saturday morning. We arrived right at 9:30 when they opened and there was already a long line to get in. It moved quickly, though! Our daughter enjoyed most of the exhibits. She loved the sand and water play areas the most, though! As it got more crowded, it did... More

We recently visited the Magic House with 5 children (ages 4-12). They all had a wonderful time. There was a nice mix of activities and exhibits geared for both older and younger children. My 12 yo daughter was afraid she would be bored, but she loved it. We stayed 4 hours and did not see everything the museum offered.
