The St. Louis zoo is very nice, In a great location in the Forest Park and accessible from public transportation. The zoo is well laid out and very walkable. The Exhibits are very nice and there is a wide range of animals from all around...More

An unexpected surprise in beautiful Forest Park. Wonderful zoo, offers multiple vantage points to view the animals. We loved the polar exhibit with polar bears, penguins and puffins. Plenty of shade from trees/plants made for a comfortable walk during summer month. Totally free admission but...More

We loved that the zoo was free and our kiddo really enjoyed the 4D Sponge Bob movie. So much so that we watched it twice! We also enjoyed a spin around the merry go round. It was a really hot day and appreciated that the...More

Between 8-9a the stingrays, carrasel, and children's area are free to get in. Stingrays a fav although they weren't selling food then. Children's area a disappointment, I definitely would pay for it. Don't skip penguins, bugs/snakes/butterflies or polar bears.

I have been to numerous zoos across the USA and have NEVER been as impressed as with the St. Louis Zoo. First of all, it's free!! Second, the exhibits are beautiful and the variety of animals is unmatched. YOU MUST SEE THIS ZOO!!!

To be quite honest, I wasn't expecting much from a free zoo. But my expectations were blown away and this ended up being the highlight of our trip. While the zoo admission is free, I would encourage families to consider buying the Adventure Pass. For...More

This is a must see attraction in St. Louis. No admission fee and free parking on the road if you are early enough, otherwise $15 in their lot. The penguin area and sea lion show are excellent (extra charge for the sea lion show). Their...More

This is a beautiful zoo with lots to see and learn for kids and adults alike. We especially love the penguin house. Grounds are kept very tidy and best of all-it's FREE!
