We were here for business. We haven't been to this zoo in several years and some things have been redone. We loved.the grizzly bear. He was jumping in the water for all of us and hiding. Super fun watching him. The lion let out a...More

It's free and that makes the attraction even better, but even if there had been a charge, I think it's worth it. Parking is $15...but we were able to drive around the park and find free parking (be sure to test out your parallel parking...More

We were driving through St. Louis on our way across the country. A friend told us the zoo was free so we figured why not? We did pay $15 for parking although I think had we tried harder there might have been cheaper or free...More

My wife and I loved the our visit. It was almost 100F out so it was a great surprise to chill with penguins and Puffin! Reptile and insect houses were my favorite stops. Free zoo!

The behind the scene tour was amazing! Other than that it was a total let-down. We saw maybe four animals out in their enclosures.

This zoo is all around great! Plenty to see and do and they have a few unique aspects as well! We really enjoyed the sea lions, sting rays, hippo, polar bears, and the elephants.

Heard a lot about this zoo. It is actually quite good and well maintained. But unfortunately many animals were kept hidden or shifted due to the weather. Saw a couple of good animals though like the bears, pengiuns, deers and monkeys. Need to be here...More

We went about 10 o'clock. Parking lot was already half full. Our first stop was the reptile exhibit. I was blown away. Most vipers I have ever seen. Asp and adders, anaconda and lots more. Insect house also had cool a/c and full of never...More

We unfortunately went during a heatwave and the animals wanted no part of it. The zoo itself is laid out well with plenty of opportunities to explore freely and soak up the experience. The train ride around the grounds was a good break and informational....More

It does cost $7.50 I believe and it does go all around the zoo. It doesn’t include a tour guide as much as extra information from the conductor. The ride depends on how long it takes at each stop but about 15ish minutes is a... More

It is much quicker in winter months before all animals are out of “hibernation”. The zoo grounds are quite extensive and you may take a train or boat to see out lying areas. If you visit all the exhibit areas at you are... More
