This zoo is amazing and huge...because it is free you can go just to see the monkeys or spend some time with the hippos. If you go early, you can find free parking in Forest Park or better yet, buy a membership and get free parking. It is easy to spend an entire day in Forest Park, so enjoy the... More

What a great way to spend an afternoon! The zoo has so much to see and when I visited all of the animals were out. The zoo posts feeding times as well so visitors will know the best times to see the animals. I did have some trouble with the map and was not able to locate the area with... More

It is rated as one of the best zoos in the country, possibly the world, and IT IS FREE!!!! I have been visiting here for almost 70 years, and... More

We are from out of town and were making a spring break trip w/ the kids. We parked and went in the North entrance since the traffic was backed up so much on the South side. I finally just let the wife and kids out to walk in to the zoo so they could at least see some of it.... More

So first off, the zoo is free to get into, this is one of the biggest pros about the zoo. The zoo offered several at cost excursions within the zoo, we opted out and I don't think we missed out on anything major. Also we did not use the train, it's also a waste, the park is small and takes... More
