What a fantastic zoo made even better by offering free admission. I'm originally from the left coast and have been to all the zoos and aquariums up and down the California Coast. This competes with every one of them and they do it for free! Yes, you need to pay for parking if you want to park on-site. But that's... More

It is not good for wheelchairs. The pavement is very uneven and changes from one surface to another. The train was nice. They were still working on some things so there was some construction going on. The zoo itself is beautiful

Well its free so can't really complaint. Went on a cold winter day so unfortunately a few of the animals were not out. Still it is a very informative and fun zoo to go visit. Well kept and was amazed with the indoor exhibits they had. It is definitely a place to go to while visiting St. Louis. The window... More

The admission to the St Louis Zoo is FREE, but you can buy a package for RR tickets, and show for very nominal fee. If you live in St Louis the best bet is to become a member : parking is free, free tickets for RR, Carousel, Children's Zoo, and shows. Plus you get 10-20% off on food and gifts.

First time visitor, very impressed with exhibits and general layout/atmosphere. The penguins were especially entertaining the day we visited.

The St. Louis zoo is one of the best in the nation and in my opinion, the best in the Midwest. They fact that it's free makes it even better in my opinion. The zoo is always clean and the staff and zoo keepers are always friendly and ready to share their knowledge. You will pay for parking if you... More

This is one of the best zoos in country and best of all is free! Anyone of any age will enjoy it. Just as fun to visit as an adult as for a child. Fun interactive exhibits and shows!

Many St Louis attractions feature light exhibitions during the holidays. The zoo's exhibit is over the top.
