Went to St Joe to visit Jesse James house and Pony Express museum. Ended up visiting Patee House as well. This was the highlight. Just $6 to get in and worth double that. They even had an old fashioned bar...so only soft drinks. You would need at least 4 hours if you want to see everything. Great place with lots... More

There was so much history and artifacts and detail about St Joe. Plus many things about America north, south, east, and west!

It would seem like an odd type of museum, but it was educational and sad. The practices used to treat patients were very horrific, disturbing and sad. It gives you compassion and understanding of the I'll. It is truly worth the experience.

One of the best museums I have been in with my Grandkids. Lots of things for kids to do and lots of variety. Merry go round, steam locomotive, race car, st Joseph memorabilia, you can spend hours!

This is an excellent museum with all kinds of collections, old west artifacts, store fronts full of inventory, and even a full-size steam locomotive. There is so much history here be prepared to spend some time going through all the rooms and all the floors to see it all.

Really enjoyed our trip here. One of the best museums I have visited. Gave a great depiction of the west and the area. Was expecting a little more about the Pony Express but was great. Cost was $6.00 each. Well worth it and you could make a day if it if you choose.
