A lot of shops and places to eat. They have themed holiday events to enjoy. The restaurants were all good. I really enjoyed the antique mall. The Boat museum is a must stop to see.

Wear your walking shoes! There are so many quaint shops and restaurants in historic buildings. There is something for everyone to enjoy. Everything was very friendly. We stayed busy all afternoon.

My son plays Pokémon Go, this area is great for a walk and doing some shopping. We have eaten in many of the restaurants while there.

Fun shopping for knick knacks, spices, fun sweets and unique clothing. Cobblestone streets that can challenge the underside of your car and tight parking are all part of the charm. The Missouri River is in the background and offers occasional fests that offer more homemade...More

10 blocks of wonderfully preserved 1800's period architecture, with many great shops and eateries. We loved the art galleries too.

Really nice area especially during the pumpkin glow near Halloween. Every kind of shop you can think of in a beautiful setting in cobblestone streets. Parking can be tricky but there’s a large public lot by the water. Well worth a visit

Downtown St. Charles is really cool. You can enjoy as little as a 15 minute drive down the main cobblestone street, or you can spend all day going through shops stopping for lunch and walking through more historic buildings and shops. Between Thanksgiving and Christmas...More

Main Street St. Charles has a great combination of dinners, small shops and restraunts. The restraunts vary from 4 star steak meals to ice cream and shake shops. The shopping also provides a great variety that ranges from an American Indian store, candle store and...More

Each store has their own hours. Most closes at 5:00pm but there are a few that wants the most out of the day and closes at 7:00pm. And of course the mini-brewery is later.
