Historic St. Charles

Love all of the little shops! Everyone you meet is very friendly! History is every where you look. On a busy day parking can be a little tricky.

Love Main Street St. Charles! It has fabulous eating options, quaint boutique shops, and a beautiful park and river in the background to make it a very enjoyable way to spend the day.

We visited the First Missouri State Capitol State Historic Site, and then enjoyed Christmas Traditions, and ended with a great dinner at Lewis and Clark! The Carriage ride was so nice!

Plenty of shops to visit. Now they even have a dike rental shop! Over a dozen restaurants - everything from pizza to finer dining.

This popular venue boasts a wealth of retail spaces for shopping and dining is abundant as well. In warmer weather, it's a very nice place to eat outdoors and shop while walking around in enjoying a coffee or a glass of wine in a restaurant sidewalk cafe.

While we frequent Main Street regularly, Christmas on Main is a must. Nothing like it anywhere. Great for kids of all ages - period Santas, Carolers, Fife and Drum

We attended Christmas Traditions at downtown mains street. It was fun talking to the characters and allowing them to provide their insights to the world that they are associated with.

Visiting St. Charles historic district provides quaint one of a kind shops and very friendly sales staff. There are many establishments that offer good food. One of our favorite places is Frankie Toccos. They have great pizza.

Nice historic Main Street district with many interesting restaurants and bars. But incredibly, smoking is still aloud everywhere in this county. If you can't stand cigarette smoke while you eat and drink, don't go here. Really disappointing.

The area continues to be a great place to visit. Historical buildings, cobble stone streets....great restaurants and shops. It is especially fun during the Christmas holidays!
