Beautiful, little Missouri town.

Only a 2 hour drive from St. Louis and a perfect get away. Quaint town with B&B's, restaurants and boutique shopping.

Rocheport has much to offer starting with a small town flare with the general store which is a gathering place for all of the residents and visitors. The Katy trail is a couple of blocks away at the edge of town which runs along the cliffs on one side and the river on the other. A great friendly place for... More

Love the town, old building, great B&B's, Katy Trail and the Railroad tunnel, Stephen King filmed a movie in it.

Very small town: Population about 239. We stayed at the Yates Bed and Breakfast. The breakfast is rated 20 on a scale of 10. It was superb. Definitely worth staying here again. The owners were very nice. She will even cook and evening meal for guest upon request since at night many/most places are NOT opened. She even teaches gormet... More

My wife and I were bicycling the KATY Trail across Missouri and Rocheport is a nice little town right next to the trail. There are several B&Bs in the town presumably to accommodate all the bicyclist that must pass through here in a day. The B&B we happened to stay in was the little train car converted to living quarters... More

Beautiful. The ride into town through the tunnel was stunning. Yates house is just up the hill about 3 blocks

Rocheport is my favorite retreat. Only about a 20 minute drive or a two hour bike ride along the Katy/MKT trail from our home in Columbia it is a step back in time. Charming homes built a century or more ago, a number of them open as B&B's, a winery, several excellent restaurants, antique shops, art galleries, history (Lewis and... More

Rocheport is delightful, but be prepared. It is tiny! There is very little here. It is not a small town, like Columbia or even Booneville... it is a tiny village with a few B&B's and restaurants, catering almost exclusively to the tourist trade brought in by the Katy trail. For those who want to use the trail, it is perfect!... More

We were staying in Arrow Rock with our 3 and 5 year old and stopped by Rochport for a few hours to walk the KATY trail and see the tunnel. We stopped and got ice cram from the little store right by the parking lot to rat while we walked down to the tunnel. It was inly about 3/4 mile... More

Only tunnel on MKT Trail. Scenic. Good place to be on a hot day! Easy walk from almost any location on the trail.
