College of the Ozarks, known as "Hard Work U," is more than a college. It's a destination with tons of family-friendly activities, including two museums, an old-fashioned grist mill, fruitcake and jelly kitchen, stained glass studio, and exquisite 4-star dining at Dobyns Dining Room in The Keeter Center. It's a great way to spend a day while you are in the Branson area. The only thing that requires admission is the Ralph Foster Museum ($6 Adults, $5 Seniors, and Free to all 18 and under). Dobyns Dining Room offers a farm to table experience without breaking the bank. Come learn why this unique college is nationally known.

A place with some free things to see, The Keeter Center had a wonderful resturant too.

Has a huge history museum with a small cost. A working mill, old school house, greenhouse, in summer on certain days a farmers market.

First tip, call several days in advance to book a reservation. We visited over Labor Day and I tried to book brunch reservations on Sat. For Sunday...too late :( we arrived on Sunday to wait for a table. The food and choices were excellent. Yes, the brunch is pricey. However, worth it. The college staff was friendly and engaging. Reservations were respected. Server was outstanding and food was well priced, and delicious. Very family friendly and great to know that we are helping students earn their own education.

This College has the students cooking and serving in their dining hall, reservations are a must. Very good. Firearms museum is on several floors and is quite extensive, plan on spending 3-4 hours minimum.

Really enjoyed our visit. The Keeter Center and Dobyns Dining Room were great! The museum(s) are very informative and educational - one costs $. Overall, would recommend stopping and seeing what a work college is and does. You may still have faith in the nest generation when you leave.

We took a tour of this interesting college and were given free samples of fruit cake. It was delicious! The sign says students work their way thru school.

Me my wife and 3 other couples when there for dinner. A beautiful facility and very good food. All the servers are college students and did an wonderful job. We like the place so much that we returned for a luncheon. The lunchwas very good also.

WE stopped by a what a campus. The college kids raise their animals, tend to the gardens and milk the cows! They make their won fruitcakes, jams, and ground meal. There is still an old working meal to grind the grain on campus. Beautiful old church on campus that all are required to attend.
