The Ralph Foster Museum contains a vast collection of artifacts with special emphasis on the history and culture of the Ozark Mountain Region. Originally housed in Abernathy Hall, a boy's dorm on the campus of College of the Ozarks, the building has been transformed into three floors of exhibits where visitors will find many items of interest, such as antiques, dolls, clocks, music items, a large firearms collection, natural history, and textiles, in addition to the Beverly Hillbillies truck that was used in the television series.

If youre in Branson and you have time for about two for a museum, you will always remember youre exerience in this museum! It's incredible what they have collected and have displayed in this one building. I have been to over 100 museums and this by far is my favorite.

This museum, on the beautiful campus of College of the Ozarks, exhibits and interprets objects related to the Ozarks Region. The large and diverse collection contains many antiques, dolls, natural and cultural history items, firearms and the 1921 Oldsmobile that Jed Clampett drove in the "Beverly Hillbillies" television series. The museum is operated by knowledgeable and attentive students from College... More

A great family friendly museum. Has 4 floors and lots of unique stuff on each floor. Some are from a movie and also about the collage.

Even if you think most museums are kind of boring, you'll find so many things to see and learn you'll leave being impressed with this one. It will introduce you to the Ozark''s colorful history and how people lived in the olden days. Give it at least an hour. It's not easy to find, though, because it's tucked back behind... More

There is a lot to see. Our grandchildren were with us and they enjoyed the museum. It is clean and accessible to anyone that cares to visit. The Beverly Hillbilly car (from the show) is at the museum .. Take your time and enjoy. Yes, it is air conditioned.

Didn't know what to expect. But this museum has three floors of interesting exhibits on a variety of subjects. Much of it having to do with the Ozarks. We spent about 3 hours and enjoyed every second. I know I did not see everything so will return in a few years. I really enjoyed my whole experience at the College... More

This has one of the best collections I've ever seen. 1st floor is all about music in the Ozark region. You can even get a picture with the Beverly Hillbillies vehicle! On the 2nd floor is one of the biggest collection of guns and rifles you will ever find. There is even a Gatling gun on display. 3rd floor was... More

We were late getting to Branson and had an eight PM show, so were pressed for time, but enjoyed the museum enough we will be going back. It's on the College campus and we ended up asking one of the students for final directions. The admission was very reasonable and all the employees we saw in the museum were students.... More
