This is a free museum that will answer all your questions about the development of Lake of the Ozarks. You can spend as little as 30 minutes or a couple of hours looking at the photographs and reading the exhibits. Very informative. Well-done!

Went here on the recommendation of the guide at Bridal Cave. Great way to spend a short time learning about the dam. Also the lodge was built elsewhere and then disassembled and reassembled here in MO. Very cool. A lot of history in a cool...More

The Willmore Lodge is a Welcome Center, Museum and Information Center. The volunteers are there to answer all your questions and are very helpful. The lodge takes you back in time when the lake was created by the Bagnell Dam. Worthwhile to visit and see...More

Don't really get to tour the building, but they do have an excellent little museum that chronicles the story of the Bagnell Dam. Worth the time to visit ti find out what it took to build the dam/

We re-visit the lodge ever few years just to refresh our memory of the unbelievable story of the making of the dam and to view the beautiful view of the lake. It is truly worth your time!
