Wander through a slice of pre-settlement landscape at Pershing State Park. The park includes a boardwalk and hiking trail that winds through a wet prairie near a meandering stream with oxbow sloughs and cutoffs, and into a bottomland forest. The park’s wetlands attract a variety of birds and waterfowl as well as scores of other wildlife species. Locust Creek and four small lakes give anglers a chance to try their skills and a shady campground with electric and basic campsites makes the park an ideal overnight location.

Nice park with electric hookups. Good separation between sites, some shaded, some open. We had a nice secluded site. Decent showers and nice campground hosts.Only $19 a night.

Nice Park with nice picnic areas and a couple of short trails to walk through some nice woods. A nice camping area with clean showerhouse and amenities, What you would expect from a Missouri State Park

Absolutely loved this small quiet campground. Very private and clean. Loved all the Red Headed Woodpeckers there.

Grill, shelter, playground, woods, walking trails, bridge. We like to be alone together and Pershing State Park is a fine place to cook out on their grill with playground and fish ponds, walking trails in the woods including a bridge and one boardwalk nature trail out across different wetlands. We'll be back.

Its a great place for dinners, camping, or just nature walking. They have big play grounds near their shelter houses. The kids love it. Its convenient for parents having birthday parties.

There is a boardwalk that is 1 1/2 miles long, it has an observatory along the way, it's beautiful. You usually can see a lot of deer. Fall is the best time of year to go, when the leaves are falling.

Our campsite was very nice and we enjoyed walking one of the trails along Locust Creek. Bathrooms were well kept and cleaned on a daily basis. Wished there was a soap dispensor in the bathrooms. Showers had hot water and were very nice.

Visited the home of General John Pershing. Nice little ghost town but peaceful. Interesting information at the site and very historical.
