It was a bit pricey (23$ on a weekend) but I would recommend it if you like... More

This is definitely one of the better science museums that I've been to. Lots of interactive activities for the grand-kids and a few that really sparked my imagination. They especially liked th water exhibit.

Overview: We have taken our grandchildren here many times in the last couple of years, and each time, they seem to find something new that catches their interest. Pros: Kid friendly, Lots of activities to keep them busy, safe environment, friendly and helpful staff. Cons: Parking can be expensive in that area if you can't find any free public parking.... Set in and next to the restored union station this is in a great spot. Spend at least part of your day here next time you are in KC with the family. Multiple levels, activities for all ages and interesting enough that mom and dad don't go crazy. The climb-through tree house and the bike-ride on a cable are two... More

My children really enjoyed seeing and doing the activities there. I feel that $50 (2 adults and 2 children)for about 2 hours was a bit excessive. It is a nice place where the kids had fun but I'm not sure we will return if we are in the area.

Science City is fun for all ages. The parents and grand-parents appear to be having as much fun as the kids as all interact with the exhibits. The varied offerings make it likely that everyone can find more than one fun thing to do and come back to. Even at times of high attendance, the line to try experiments has... More

This place was amazing for our young kids. (2, 4 and 6). They had so much fun. Even if we didn't read everything the interactions and science experiments were so fun. They literally could not stop going from one thing to the next. We visited on a Thursday and it wasn't very crowded so it was perfect. They had the... More

Lots of stuff for kids to enjoy, and most of it has at least some educational value. Our 5 year-old played for nearly two hours and was never bored.
