Excellent place to spend an afternoon with free and paid exhibits. Nice shops and nice science city, The station itself is an amazing redo, and simply has gorgeous ceilings clocks and chandeliers. Also has a planetarium.Also has some good eats there too!

What a great building! Lofty ceilings and marble floors - truly a reflection of a bygone era. The building has been beautifully preserved and maintained and I would definitely recommend a tour of the station!

I am assuming the question is regarding the current exhibit at Union Station. Per Union Station, tickets to Pompeii exhibit are available through April 30th.
Is there free parking at the station if we are eating at Pierponts?

Yes there are places to eat inside. There are also places across the street about a block away at Crown Center
