Free bag of shredded cash!

Fun and free place to stop. It's on the way to Crown Center. Took guided tour for half. You can do on your own if desired. Over 18 must have a VDL to get in.

Fantastic for kids but good for all. Good event for an hour or two. Also it is free. Great view of the racks of money. You get a free bag of money. Learned about some cool coins like a half dime.

We took a Federal Reserve tour with a school group. We were split into two separate tours. The only difference was the tour guide. Half of the group was led by an energetic and informative guide. At the end of their tour, everyone seemed to be excited about what they had learned. The other half was led by a guide... More

If finance and money interest you, then this is worth a visit. An impressive collection of US coins is interesting. A brief, limited glimpse of currency being worked with was fun to see but left me wishing they could show us more. Security concerns make this impossible though. You can see the museum in an hour or so. Worth a... More

This was a very cool place to go and the best part it was free! Free souvenirs and even the stuff they have to purchase is decent priced. You have to make your own money! That was the highlight of our visit here!

This is great place for the any ages to visit. There is something for everybody plus you get to take home a small free bag of shredded dollars. Ask for the childrens passport, its full of things to them to look for and keep busy.

This was a much better stop than anticipated. We kinda trailed behind a group of new hires on a guided tour and got to overhear the commentary. Once that group left, we started talking to one of the security guards and he shared a lot of really interesting information. The vault/shredder area was the coolest part of the museum. Really... If you are a numismatist, you might enjoy this more than I did. I like history and like old coins and money, but not that into it. Had history of coins going back to George Washington and showed you what $40 million looks like. Lots of activities for kids, but I don't have any. You get a free bag of... More

You can take a self guided tour or get a reservation for a tour guide led visit. Helps explain their role in handling money and financial transactions. Everyone should have a basic knowledge of how the Federal Reserve System works.
