This museum was nice to visit. It was payed out well and allowed you to wander around on your own. Some of the displays didn’t work which was disappointing. Overall it was a cute place to visit and interesting.

This is a one room museum with a tiny gift shop. There are only 3 interesting displays. The first is a cool display of every type of coin minted during each presidency. The second is an opportunity to lift a bar of gold and the...More

You need ID to enter. Interesting experience and quite historical. It is near a monument as well where you can have a clear look at the city itself. Not open weekends.

This is a fascinating place to spend several hours. We easily found our way around this exhibit. There is a short movie and several hands on exhibits. This is not for a young child and probably would not be enjoyed kids under their mid teens....More

We did a free guided tour. The woman was very informative. I never knew that millions of dollars are shredded each day. We watched workers stack and bundle money in a glass enclosed work area. At the end of the tour, we got a little...More

You can probably see everything in about an hour; the tour guides enjoy their jobs! The stacks of money is not something I have seen anywhere else. We went on a special Friday when there was a tour of the art collection. Not many pieces,...More

This was an awesome educational experience for me and my family. There was so much to learn. Every facet of our nation's currency was either shown or explained. Interactive activities were fun! A very small gift shop but has enough to bring home nice gifts...More

The Money Museum was free & it was rainy so we decided to visit while in KC. It was a lot of fun watching money being counted, shredded, put onto pallets & stored. ( All behind secure glass giving a view of the vaults &...More
