Always heard of the area, but first trip. History is all around. Whenever in KC, even for a short time, this is a must stop.

My fiance and I visited one of the Jazz Clubs on 18th and Vine. the band was amazing and the atmosphere was comfortable. I was very pleased with our visit

I love "downtown" areas and especially those which have bee updated and made into a central hub. The 18th and Vine district is a good place to go to find something to eat...or just to look around.

This historic district is fine but really limited. You can check it out when visiting the museums since they are side by side then get some BBQ nearby. Worthwhile regardless.
