If you are a fan of the British show "Time Team", you will love this museum. Two families, friends, and others helped in the archeological dig of a wonderful piece of American history. The dedication they showed, and their decision to start a museum, reminds...More

Go see this. Period. It's fascinating that a steamboat sank in the Missouri River, slowly sank in the mud and the contents remained in perfect condition for 150+ years. The story of the discovery of the boat is informative, enjoyable and entertaining. Seeing the objects...More

While the boat is lovely, I got the impression it was more of a gimmick inside a mall. Admission was expensive for a steam boat.

Hi, Michael! We are sorry to hear that the ticket price kept you from touring the museum. The tickets actually help to fund the ongoing preservation of 200 tons of artifacts. Hope you can stop in next time. Have a great day!

I enjoyed out tour guide while on the trip. I cannot remember his name but he was a younger guy and was excellent. I enjoyed everything about the tour and would like to visit again.

Interesting tour of the Arabia that sunk in the Missouri River and was uncovered under a farmer's field. The tour guides are knowledgeable and friendly.

Take a trip down to the past, and learn about the pioneers.. The Arabia is an amazing look into the past. You learn of its demise and ressurection, and it's treasures trapped in time. We were fortunate to meet the family that unearthed the treasure....More

Came here with my family visiting from out of town. I had no idea it was there until they told me about it. It's so cool. It's mind blowing that they were able to salvage all of these items. It's a definite must see if...More
